Chambor’s Extreme Lip Colour range is one of the best available in the makeup town since they last on the lips forever. I noticed a few shades in the Chambor “extreme matte” lip colour collection and I picked 3 of them – “Honey Rose,” “Burnt Rose,” and “Bulgarian Rose!” Today, I will be reviewing the most subtle shade out of the 3, so let’s start:
INR 845 for 2.8 gm.
Chambor introduces an extreme matte long wear lip colour which comes in soft and creamy texture and looks stunning on your lips. Chambor Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Colour is available in striking colour shades that grab everyone’s attention and these hydrating and lightweight formula lipsticks feature rich pigments and do not dry out lips giving you the perfect pout you desire.
- Comes in a hydrating lightweight formula with rich pigments, does not dry out lips.
- These are super long wear, waterproof lipsticks.
- An extremely soft and creamy texture gives a velvety matte finish.
My Experience with Chambor Honey Rose Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Colour:
Packaging: The Chambor lip crayon comes in a navy blue box which is the signature box of Chambor cosmetics. The crayon comes in a simple sleek pencil format which is colour coded. It has a cap which shuts tight and wouldn’t harm the bullet. The main issue with the packaging is that these crayons have to be sharpened which cause a lot of product wastage. They have not provided any sharpener with it, so I am waiting to grab one. The price is definitely expensive, but other brand crayons cost this much as well.
Shade: The shade “Honey Rose” is a beautiful n*de shade with very light rose hints, but rather than it being more of a rose shade, it is a n*de one. It is really pretty and perfect for fair/medium skin tones. It is a perfect MLBB shade which blends well with such skin tones giving that perfect “no-makeup” look, but if you want your lip colour to be very noticeable, then this is not the one as it is very subtle.
Texture and Finish: The texture is super creamy and glides very smoothly on the lips. However, since it gives a matte finish, it will cling to very dry lips hence I have to scrub and moisturize my lips. It feels a little dry after a while but it does not bother a lot.
Staying Power: It stays for so much longer than other n*de lip colors that I have tried. It stays on my lips for around 6-7 hours. A little colour may fade with food but most of the colour stays intact. It does not transfer much but settles a bit in fine lines. Overall, a really good lip crayon with a stunning matte finish.
Pros of Chambor Honey Rose Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Colour:
- Color-coded pencil.
- Loads of gorgeous shades available to choose from.
- Extremely pretty n*de shade.
- Perfect MLBB shade for fair/medium skin tones.
- Awesome to create the “no makeup” look.
- Creamy consistency.
- Matte finish.
- Lasts super long, 6-7 hours on the lips.
- Comes off easily with a makeup remover.
Cons of Chambor Honey Rose Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Colour:
- They should have given a sharpener with it.
- The bullet breaks a lot of times from the base.
- Not for dusky skin tones.
- May cling to very dry lips.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Chambor Honey Rose Extreme Matte Long Wear Lip Colour?
This is a really nice n*de shade which lasts a lot longer than the other n*de lipsticks. I am surely going to pick more from this range if I come across some new shades in this range.
I just wish they launch some more shades in a retractable crayon format because sharpening these up is a tedious task.
