Last week a did a tiny Chambor haul and ventured into ranges I had never tried. This is my first Truly Lasting lipstick and some friends always have suggested “Truly Pearl” and “Truly Coral” but this is what I liked for the fall/winter wear.I am very happy that I decided to try these new lipsticks as I had been hoarding a lot of powder mattes from Chambor which has been hiked to Rs. 525 from Rs, 450!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks to each shade reviewed on IMBB 😛


This lipsticks costed me Rs. 625 and I was thinking it will be a hard matte kind of lippy but it is everything but matte and hard. The lipstick is very soft, luscious, smooth buttery and very pigmented lipstick and it is a delight to apply it on.

The lipsticks is exactly what the pack mentions, it gives a minty tingle, it is mildly fragranced and it is cooling. But here is the catch, it is not truly lasting like they mention, I found it to be exactly like any other lipstick when it comes to staying power.But it does everything else, it perks up my mouth, it is luscious, moisturising and smooth and dry lips will love it.

I wore it at around 7:45 pm and by 8:30 the luster had gone but the color was intact. After a meal it was gone so it served me for three hours which is my average for any other lipstick. the pretty hint of color stays on though. But still badly need touch up.I dont have an issue with staying power unless it is something as bad as the NYX round lipsticks. This one is fine and i try to use it on top of a lip liner.


The packaging is regular Chambor, the texture is matte and the quantity is way too less, if I use it daily I would finish it in a month which I will be very happy to! But if you are spending Rs. 625 I am sure you want more staying power and quantity out of it!

Last word:
The texture, the finish, the pigmentation, is to die for, I don’t care much about the minty feel and the lipstick is not truly lasting as claimed. I will be buying more of these for the colors and the saucy luscious feel they have!They are a little over priced but thank god they have names unlike the Rouge plump+.
