Hope you all had a blast on the blog sale, I missed out the fun….now looking on to the products I wanted to buy lots 🙁 anyways, better luck next time. Today I am going to review Lip Contour Pencil from Chambor in the shade Rose Fresque #18. I am not all a lip liner person but once I used a lip liner from my sis and I must admit that it has its own charm.

Packaging:
Chambor Lip Contour Pencil comes in a wooden pencil form. The body is deep navy blue with the tail denoting the color of the lip liner. The cap is a see through plastic cap and does not shut with a click. So if you are travelling with this you have to be slightly careful, just cannot throw this baby in. Quite a smart packaging with silver bands here and there and shade name and expiry all mentioned on the body.

Texture:
Like all lip liners in wooden form this too is slightly hard to start off but that’s what lip liners are meant to be. Hold the lip colors in place and that requires the liner to be smudge-proof in itself. Sounds like a philosophy lesson eh?

My Experience with Chambor Lip Contour Pencil Rose Fresque #18:

Chambor Lip Contour Pencil in Rose Fresque #18 is one of the very few lip liners that I own but the color being dusty rose with a hint of mauve in it, it suits almost all my pink and mauve lipsticks. I am yet to get the hang of using a lip contour pencil every time I put on a lipstick but am sure, looking into the benefits I will start using it religiously. In the lip swatch I have applied a clear lip balm on top of the liner because the lip liner alone was way too dry.

Pros:
• Smooth
• Stays on for very long time
• Dusty rose shade will go with most pink and mauve shades

Cons:
• Pricey
• Drying when used alone on lips

Probably no. I will buy a creamy lip liner instead.
