I hope you all are doing fine, sorry for missing in action here and replying so late on the comments in the previous review. I didn’t notice that the review was up until yesterday and today my internet is acting up a bit. After a long time., I got hold of some sober lip colors. I was totally digging into hot pinks and corals and oranges. I still love my bright lip colors as much. Today, I am reviewing a gorgeous lipstick from Chambor’s Moisture Plus range.
An innovative “dual action” formula with a nourishing core to hydrate lips and prevent dryness; surrounded by a soft, ultra-moisture colour coating for a smooth, radiant finish.
Two In One Lisptick – Treatment with Color.
It has a glossy texture.
Beautifully highlighted and totally refined lips.
Day long comfort, infinite softness.
Water Resistant – Long Lasting Effect.
No Animal Ingredients.
Rs. 595 for 4.5 grams.
It comes in a matte, steel-colored plastic case with the cute Chambor rose on top of the cap.
The swatch on the website is misleading. It looks bright pink in the picture above which is not the case.
My Take on Chambor Moisture Plus Lipstick – Plum Plus:
It is a beautiful plum-colored lipstick. Since is very creamy and not intensely pigmented, you would require at least 4-5 swipes for the color to show up really well. Although the color doesn’t look completely opaque when applied, it covers the lips well. It is a subtle plum color which is great for everyday use.
The color looks extremely sheer in the hand swatch.
The formula is extremely moisturising. The lipstick has a central core of lip balm like substance which makes it very soft and creamy for application. It feels buttery soft. The lipstick doesn’t stain at all and doesn’t look cakey either.
It stays for about 4 hours with a meal in between. It fades quite evenly after having meal.
It has a sweet fragrance. I quite like the fragrance, it fades away in some time.
Here are the lip swatches:
Pros of Chambor Moisture Plus Lipstick – Plum Plus:
- Very moisturizing.
- Creamy and glides on like a dream.
- Doesn’t settle in the fine lines or accentuate them.
- Does not bleed.
- Average staying power of around 4 hours.
- No animal testing.
Cons of Chambor Moisture Plus Lipstick – Plum Plus:
- A little on the expensive side.
- Now, since it is very moisturising, its staying power is quite average.
Will I Buy Chambor Moisture Plus Lipstick – Plum Plus Again?
Not really. At this price tag, I am sure I can find similar colours in other brands at a much better price.
Do I Recommend Chambor Moisture Plus Lipstick – Plum Plus?
Totally, to all those who love subtle plum shades.
