Chambor Rouge Plump+ Lipstick- 701 Review
So last weekend found me in Shopper’s stop again, that is where I shop all my makeup and the SAs know me and my choices very well by now, they also stock up new collections for me which I want to get for my reviews all the time. So this time, to my surprise, this is what I found!

Chambor presents Rouge Plump+, the secret to sensuously full lips.
A lipstick isn’t just a lipstick anymore. With Chambor, it becomes your beauty secret that helps you get the desired result in plumpness, moisture, colour and a lot more. The new Rouge Plump+ amplifies lips by 25% giving you sensuously full lips. This has been dermatologist tested and clinically proven.
Chambor has come up with a new range of lipsticks, I believe plumping lipstick and it costs Rs. 745!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read on to know why you should pay this amount for a Chambor lipstick!
There are more than 20 shades available and I fell for at least a 4 of them! But considering the price I could get just one and also for review purpose I thought I will start with one and then move on to invest more 😛 The pack is like the “truly lasting” one but textured.
So why buy:

• Super creamy.
• Super pigmented.
• Super soft.
• Don’t bleed.
• Don’t feather.
• Super moisturising.
• Super shades.
• Nice textured packaging.
• Dry-lips dream.
• Amazing color pay-off in just one swipe!
• Hides fine lines.
• Makes lips look luscious.
• Great for mature lips.
So why not:
• Horrendous pricing!
• Boring regular Chambor packaging.
• No plumping as claimed around 25%.
• Poor staying power as opposed to claims.
• No names, just numbered.
I am in love with the orange color I got, it is smooth as butter and very pigmented. In case you are wondering about the insane pricing, this is because it claims plumping and filling up fine lines. When you apply it one, you feel a mild minty tingling sensation for around 3 minutes apparently plumping your lips. I could not see any visible plumping but yes I found that will fill up cracks and fine lines and will make thin lips look fuller. Apart from that, nothing on the plumping front may be a 3-5% difference in appearance and feel.
Immediately after application
After 3 minutes of mild tingling, plumping sensation
But the texture is to die for! It is just what I like in a luscious lipstick and hence I recommend investing the amount in this. But wait, the staying power is quite bad too, unlike claimed. I wore it 5pm and by 6:30pm it was gone by half. By 8 pm, it was off only the outline could be seen. I had my regular tea etc. and this was the situation. Also, the lipstick wont need a lip liner and it does not set or dry after some time. it stays luscious for one hour or so.
Last word:
On the plumping, price point and staying power front, it is disappointing. On the texture, softness, lusciousness and the pigmentation it is big hit for me!I will be getting more of these for the texture and the shades.

So not working for you Neha? Hey I have wedding to attend in two weeks and need some decent lippies, my main priorities being lasting power and metallic pinks. Please suggest some brands in the budget for 300- 500 rs.
chambor has that liquid lippy u can get that they set..

i was waiting for this review…thanks neha…u saved me from buying it 🙂 ..investing 550 in inglot gonna be a better decision i believe
well i love the texture no doubt?
ingot has a plumping one kya?
i have two inglots in mattes but they are way too matte 😛
nope re …inglot has no plumping effect….
its just that they stay longer than this…
wow.. loved ur lip swatches.. 🙂
the effect is visible in the pics 🙂 the shade is awesome Neha!
the SA told me it plumps up the lips if worn daily for 30 days!
thts wat the pack says
and it does fill up the lines of the lips making lips look plump but not by 25%
I would never get this shade for myself but it looks fab on you but I could not find any difference in the last two pics. I found Chambors flowing lipsticks better than these
yeah but they accumulate na by the end of the day 🙁
lovely color and looks fab on you neha… I have yellowish skin tone, will ornage lips be good on me??
i agree, look for more cooler toned oranges .. corals or pink based oranges. These warm oranges would make your skin look sallow!
may be some pinkish oranges but no yellow skin i think can chose better colors than orange 🙂
lovveed the color neha. such a pretty orange. :))
i loved this color… its ur fav shade i guess… 😉 bt 745/- fr a lipstick no way… not fr me….
