Today, I am reviewing “Chanel Rouge Allure” lipstick in the shade – 138 Fougueuse.I got this lipstick as a Valentine’s gift from my husband. I had never ever expected that he would gift me this lipstick. I was literally shocked and speechless when I opened the box. I always wanted to get a lipstick from Chanel but didn’t,  because it’s way too expensive.But now, my dream has come true. This particular shade is very beautiful. It’s an amazing pink color. This color works well for all occasions. I am so obsessed with this lipstick. I am very excited to share my experience with you all lovely people, so lets get started.

Packaging:

Packaging is  a classic one. The outer body is black and the lipstick tube inside is golden color. Twisting the lipstick is different for Chanel lipsticks, it has a pop-up design that I absolutely love.The lipstick is indeed luxurious. You can pull it out and use it by twisting and turning the lipstick in and out of the tube.

My take on Chanel 138 Fougueuse Rouge Allure Intense Long-Wear Lip Colour :

Chanel Rouge Allure is moderately hydrating and easy to reapply. This shade #138 is a color that could be worn all around the year. It is a bright pink/bit of strawberry mix with subtle satin finish and cool undertones. This medium pink shade is suitable for warmer and yellow skin tones. Pigmentation is great. It is never heavy on the lips either.

It is very lightweight and feels very comfortable but I feel that my lips are getting a bit dry after 2 hours. The lipstick itself changes to a satin finish after sometimes, which I like about this collection. Staying power is great. The full color stays on the lips for 4 hours, it is amazing. After 4 hours, it looks so fresh like we have applied it recently. Then it leaves a bright pink stain on our lips. It has a very deep pigmentation and  I removed the stain it using a makeup remover. This product is best if we have to attend any long functions or parties.

The lipstick glides smooth on the lips. It can be applied even without using a mirror.
I normally apply 2-3 layers  and it stays for hours.

Overall I liked Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick in the shade 138 Fougueuse. I liked its silky and satin finish. Staying power is also quite amazing.
