This review will be on a Chanel lipstick – 462 Romy to be precise. It’s one of the new formula lipsticks launched recently by Chanel. These feel balmy as Rouge Coco Shine lipsticks and have pigmentation like Rouge Allure lipsticks.

My Experience with Chanel 462 Romy Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour:
When it comes to packaging, Chanel prefers making things classy and that applies to their makeup products as well. This lipstick comes in a black tube with gold detailing with the Chanel logo on top and the shade name mentioned at the bottom. The packaging looks classy and chic.
All Chanel products smell like roses and this lipstick is no exception.
“Romy” is a warm fuchsia pink color. It goes smoothly on the lips and feels very balmy. It does not tug or pull on the lips during application. This color would highlight the yellowness on my teeth, but the shade looks beautiful, so I am okay with it. This lipstick provides medium coverage to the lips and there’s no need to prep lips prior to application because it does not highlight dry patches.
This lipstick is very pigmented and feels very lightweight on my lips. I did not notice any feathering or bleeding whatsoever. Rouge Coco offers a satiny finish on the lips which makes your lips appear fuller and juicy. Being a satiny formula, this feels very hydrating on the lips and the hydration doesn’t go away even after it wears off!
You can wear this shade everywhere, to office, day out or a party too. You can pair it with smokey eye look.
Chanel Coco Romy lasts for 4 hours on my lips and leaves a pink stain behind though it completely fades away with a heavy meal. Romy is a universally flattering shade and would look lovely on all skin tones.
