One of my all-time favourite blushes are from Chanel and I absolutely love the formula and the shade range. The shade that I will be reviewing today is called “Alezane” which belongs to the permanent range, but is also part of their 2015 fall collection.

My Experience with Chanel Alezane 260 Joues Contraste Blush:

Chanel blushes comes housed in a very classy black plastic case with Chanel logo on top. There is a space for brush inside the compact which comes along with the blush. The name of the blush is printed on the bottom of the case.

Like I have mentioned above, Chanel blushes have the best formulations. I absolutely love blushes from Chanel, these are moderately pigmented, so you don’t have to be too careful while applying it.

It feels very soft to touch, powdery but not chalky or streaky in any way. It goes on very smoothly and softly on the cheeks and provides beautiful glow to the cheeks. The shade “Alezane” is a very unique brownish-pinky shade with gold shimmer, I don’t have any shade that even comes close to it.

This shade would work for fair to medium skintones and is perfect for everyday wear. The golden shimmer on this blush gives a beautiful glow to the cheeks and doesn’t look glittery in anyway. The powder is finely milled and goes smoothly on the cheeks.

This blush is buildable and highly blendable, so you can never go overboard with it. Like any other Chanel blush, this also has that rosy scent to it which I personally love, but people with sensitive noses might not, but the scent fades away after a few minutes of application, so it won’t be bothersome. It has good lasting power with 8 to 9 hours of wear time.
