My Experience with Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder :

Every summer I buy a good compact and this time it was the Chanel Les Beiges. I have been wanting to try this compact for soooo long so finally I dived in. And I am more than happy with this. I looove it.

Packaging : The packaging is soo beautiful with off white and black case. There is  black cover that holds the semi circular brush. That only only keeps the powder protected but also keeps it clean. It also comes with Chanel’s luxurious velvet pouch. The brush is soft and is very useful for touchups. But I find that the powder works best when applied with a kabuki brush.

Coverage : The coverage is sheer, as the name suggests. But If used with a dense Kabuki brush, it adds a bit of coverage to the skin. I have worn it right on top of the skin with a bit of concealer. And it looks beautiful on the skin.

Finish : It gives such a sheer beautiful glow to the skin. It does not mattify the skin but it takes away the shine just slightly leaving skin looking healthy. The powder ad very minimal shimmers to it . The shimmers are visible only if you really stare at the powder. 😛 I feel they add a hint of glow to the skin. The darker shades of the same compact would make a beautiful contouring / bronzing powder. The powder does not clog pores.

Staying Power : It stays for around 4 hours and then I do feel the need for touch up. In winters it might last even longer.

Fragrance : It has a lovely rosy fragrance.

If you are looking for a matte finish compact that would give your enough coverage, this may not be for you. But if you are looking for a compact that would add a bit of luminosity to your skin and would look super natural. Give this a go! 🙂 I love it! 🙂 I would still add that this is not a must have but it’s good to have. I totally enjoy using it. 🙂
