Chanel Plum Attraction Blush Review, Photos, Swatches

Chanel Plum Attraction # 63 is a deep burgundy, plum blush with soft flecks of gold in it. The blush is a part of Chanel fall 2010 collection. As the winter is approaching more of plums and burgundy shades are going to rule the makeup collections.

Price: Rs 2350

Chanel blush comes in a signature classic black casing, which has a white interlocked C engraved on it.

My Experience with Chanel Plum Attraction blush :

This Chanel Plum Attraction blush is strongly pigmented. With just one swipe of colour , I can do both my cheeks . The powder is finely milled and goes on even on cheeks. Plum Attraction is essentially matte but the golden flecks give a slight sheen when applied on cheeks.

It stays on all day long , doesn’t accentuate my pores and gives a beautiful contour to my cheeks. I do not wear plum/ burgundy blush on the apples of my cheeks. I contour my cheeks with the plum blush and apply the highlighter on my cheeks bones. the colour is so strong that if I apply it on the apples of my cheeks, it looks as if someone has beaten me black and blue. πŸ˜› I also avoid using pink blush along with it because that would be just too much colour going on my face.Β  A purple / plum blush and a highlighter is what I do all the time and I like that ways. πŸ™‚

Actually the Chanel makeup artist has also used the Plum Attraction on their model the same way.

This technique lifts your cheeks ups and gives a very youthful look to your face.

You can easily go overboard with Chanel Plum Attraction so I suggest that you apply it lightly first and then build the intensity depending on your mood and liking. People with dark complexion would especially love this blush. But those who have a fair complexion can also rock this colour.

  2. “Have you sued Chanel Plum Attraction Blush?”
LOL , sorry couldn’t help but notice, its written SUED instead of USED , which can be a li’l misleading lol.

The colour is gorgeous !! And you look sooooo pretty in it ! I bet its worth the price.

    1. he he corrected it. It’s a common mistake I make. Last time I was asking if people have sued Clinique skin care.. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thank you. It is totally worth the price . πŸ™‚

      1. @Gia: good to know all makeup junkies arent crazy about blushes :highfive:
@Rati: thats what my sis says, she bought me this bare minerals blush which was also kinda plummy and I ended up using it mostly as a crease color πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

  3. Liked it πŸ™‚
But i am person who likes more of a Peach or pink person with no shimmer in it πŸ˜€
So i wouldn’t really Grab it ,if i find it anywhere.
but it looks good on you!
I guess it will look good if you pair it up with something or maybe apply more blush or it will look good in the night :silly:
    πŸ˜›
So yea

    1. Oh I don’t like applying a pink blush with it. It looks tacky and overdone. πŸ™ And this barely has any shimmer. πŸ˜€ I also prefer mattes more than shimmery blushes.

Okay i’ll try applying more …errr…okay..I’ll think. πŸ˜› he he

      πŸ˜• ?:-) :-/ πŸ˜‰

  4. Hi Rati, this colour suits you a lot. BTW, where did you buy the NYX lipstick from? Do you know where to get NYX products in India? I always wanted to ask.

    1. Sabrina,

NYX is available only in Bangalore and Mumbai. You may order stuff from a website called cherryculture.com

they deliver stuff to india and you can get a lot of NYX stuff from there. πŸ™‚

      Thank you. πŸ˜‰

      1. Thanks a lot, Rati. I’ve never ordered cosmetics online, do you think if I order from cherryculture, the products will arrive safely? Would you know if they send by courier or by regular mail?

        1. Sabrina,

I ordered stuff for a friend and it did reach her within 18-20 days. they send you a full bill receipt as a proof for your purchase. it’s quite safe. πŸ™‚
