Chanel Precision Hydramax + Active Serum Active Moisture Boost Review
This will be review of Chanel Hydramax + Active Serum Active Moisture Boost.
First of all, I would want to say how awesome the IMBB group is for coming up with such amazing and innovative ideas and doing this product sponsorship to make us regular writers feel extra extra special. I am extremely happy and proud to associate myself with such a dedicated and honest group of people. Thank you guys!!
So, back to the review:
Enriched with Aquaperfyl™, a complex of moisture-boosting components, this silky serum sinks in on contact for immediate dry-skin relief.
Founded by the French couturier Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in 1909, the House of Chanel has become one of the most respected fashion empires in the world. The collection today includes haute couture, ready-to-wear, handbags, perfumes, and cosmetics and skin treatments. The legend and allure of the interlocking-C logo endures beautifully.
$82 for 1 oz/30 ml.
My Experience with Chanel Precision Hydramax + Active Serum Active Moisture Boost:
I love everything about this product. The serum itself is a beautiful turquoise-colored liquid and it is extremely lightweight and has very light floral scent which smells just as amazing as any of Chanel perfumes. The fragrance is very subtle, not at all overpowering. You need 1-2 pumps to completely cover the face and some of the neck area and the serum instantly gets absorbed in the skin. Face feels extremely smooth and hydrated from the moment this product touches the skin. No greasiness and it does not impart any shine on face, also improves skin elasticity.
This product is supposed to be worn before applying moisturizer. I have used this product alone and with a moisturizer too. Though wearing it alone is enough to take care of all my dry skin needs, wearing it under a moisturizer helps it effectiveness by leaps and bounds. Also, this can be worn under makeup without any issue.
I usually use this at night before sleeping and let the serum work on my skin overnight and by morning, my face is as soft as a baby’s bum. I have noticed that this is just a temporary fix for my skin. I did try to skip a day between using it at night and the dryness on my face returned so safe to say I am completely hooked on to this product and cannot skip using this even for a day.
Also, something which bothered me was that if you see the ingredients list “alcohol” is mentioned as a third ingredient, which means it has a high content of alcohol, but isn’t alcohol supposed to dry out skin ? Also, you should not apply this if you have open wounds from pimples or acne as it stings really bad.
Even though $82 is very very expensive for just 1o z of product, which I guess would last me less than a month, I would say the product itself is definitely worth it if you are willing to indulge yourself.

True Saloni, but i wouldnt recommend to keep only this product in the skin care routine *nababana* ..it could work as a good supplement to ur daily moisturizer.. The bottle is Gorgeous..!! *haan ji* *drool*
Note to Admin : the last 2 pic have been repeated and also some of the pic i sent of the serum swatch and page 2 of description are not published..
*clap* very nice review neha, but the product is really expensive *jalwa*
I think Chanel products would always be expensive since it is a luxury skin care. I have used a lot of their skin care and it has always been brilliant! But yeah a lot of alcohol present in the products does not help the product. 🙁 Good and very detailed review. 🙂
