Recently, Chanel came out with its new lip gloss range called Rouge Coco Gloss, in which there are 3 top coats, out of which two are limited edition and one belongs to the permanent collection. The one that I will be reviewing today is called 774 Excitation, which is supposed to brighten up your lip colour.

My Experience with Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss Top Coats Excitation:
Packaging: The new Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss comes housed in a similar packaging like the old ones. It comes in the same plastic bottle with a black cap with Chanel logo on the top. The applicator is slightly bigger and thicker than the old ones. The shade name is mentioned on the bottom of the bottle.
The Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss in the shade Excitation is one of the top coats from their range. Top coats from their range are supposed to be on the sheer side, and they either brighten, warm up or darken the lip colour. The shade Excitation is a transparent gloss with golden shimmer which is supposed to brighten up the lip shade. I used to love the older gloss formula from Chanel, but I feel that they have made this formula better than the old ones.
Rouge Coco Gloss adds high shine, makes lips look plump and juicy without feeling heavy or sticky on the lips. It feels very comfortable and hydrates the lips throughout its wear time. The bigger and thicker applicator allows even distribution of the product, without dipping it twice in the bottle. It does not have any scent to it. This stayed on my lips for around 4 hours which is fine by me, since it’s a gloss and is on the sheer side. This can be worn alone or over a lipstick to brighten up lip colour.
