This is my first contribution to IMBB and I’m super excited. I have been a silent reader of this beauty blog and now I’m ready to come into the lime light. It is my pleasure to be a part of this blog and meet you all beauties.
So here is my review about Chanel Vitalumiere satin smoothing fluid makeup. I was on a hunt for my perfect foundation and was confused which one to buy. It was one of my cousins who suggested Chanel. So there I ended up buying this foundation.I have been using this for about a month and half and I’m in love with it.
56$ for 30 ml. I bought it for 235 AED( its expensive in Dubai)
‘Bringing a radiantly youthful smooth satin makeup finish and a light, moisturising texture’. Your complexion is visibly rested, immediately on application, the photo reflective pigments have an optical smoothing effect. Fine lines and blemishes are softened and your complexion has a visibly more youthful appearance, your skin is energized, the presence of an energizing ingredient, derived from brown seaweed, which is renowned for its stimulating properties helps to give the complexion an immediate “healthy glow”. An anti fatigue smoothing satin foundation.
My Experience with Chanel Vitalumiere Satin Smoothing Fluid Makeup
Texture – The foundation is satiny smooth true to their claims and it is a bit on the runny side and not thick. Its very light weight formula gives us a feeling of no makeup on our face. It is easy to blend and does not tug on dry patches.
Finish – It gives a smooth look with a dewy finish. It has a nice moisturizing feel necessary for dry skinned beauties like me. It has never broken out my skin.
Coverage – It has light to medium coverage. It is for dry skinned beauties so oily beauties can totally skip it. I don’t have much imperfection on my face so I don’t use a concealer beneath but all those who need to conceal do that first because its not a heavy coverage foundation.
Staying power – It is has a decent staying power as it stays on 6 hours and more without any touch ups. That’s the longest I have gone with this foundation.
Sun protection– It has an SPF 15 which too is an added bonus.
There are 10 shades available. The shade I got is 50 Naturel which is one shade darker to my skin tone. My shade was 40 Beige but I made a mistake by taking the wrong colour because there was no daylight. So all beauties out there buy foundation only in daylight. But its fine with me I’m adjusting it with my powder.
It has a lovely fragrance also not at all overpowering.
Packaging- The product comes in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser so its easy to use. Its transparent so you can see the quantity being used up. Not very travel friendly as it is a glass bottle. One decent squirt is enough for my face and neck.
Overall this foundation is best suitable for people who does not have too many imperfections to cover up.
