My Experience with Chantecaille Blush Flair

I think one of my best discoveries makeup wise so far this year as been Chantecaille. Except their eyeliner, I haven’t come across a bad product from the brand so far. Forget bad, they are of exceptional quality.

I picked up one of the 10 blushes called Flair. They had an empty palette of 3. I used it to add two eyeshadows and a blush.

Flair is a beautiful candy pink blush the kinds that gives a flush on cheeks after you have come back from a long run. It’s a pretty pink – not everyone would like it but those who’d like it would totally want to go back to it. It is a great shade for light to medium skin tones.

The texture of the blush is velvetty and goes on like dream on the skin. It is a medium pigmented blush but it is very buildable. I feel that helps in controlling the amount of blush that go on your cheeks. It has never broken me out. It goes on smoothly on cheeks and pretty much stays on for good 7+ hours with little fading.

It is a matte blush but still has that satiny finish to it. It does not look powdery and blends easily. it is a very very finely milled powder blush.

The only thing I don’t like about Chantecaiile is their packaging. I find t too boring for a luxury brand. The palette is of rather very fine quality but I find their packaging a bit blah. It neither has that rustic coolness about it nor does it have the uber luxurious feel to it. It’s somewhere midway and that kind of puts me off a bit. It’s minimal, simple and function but at this price point I can definitley expect a bit more.

The products however are pure love. Especially this blush is totally dreamy and if given a chance, I’d love to try more colors from the range. Would totally recommend it.

Availability is an issue. I haven’t seen Chantecaiile readily available along side other luxury brands.

  1. Thats a lovely dreamy pink! Suits you very well.

From the first pic, i thought it was a blush n highlighter duo. I don’t get this – the blush pan is as small as an eyeshadow pan?

  2. It looks so so beautiful on you, Rati. I love your blush reviews a lot; your reviews have made me try blushes in various shades too. And ya, they should offer more when it comes to packaging. 🙂
