This review will be on the Charlotte Tilbury Rock ‘n’ Kohl Eyeliner in the shade Bedroom Black.
About The Product:
ROCK ‘N’ KOHL melts onto your skin for an easy, 1-slick line that blends then sets. Channel your inner rock ‘n’ roll muse with sexy, smoked-up rock chick eyes in an instant that stay put all day and all night. It’s one of my all-time favourite looks.
• The effortless glide of a liquid liner with the soft, wax-rich result of a kohl that melts onto the skin for an easy, 1-slick, blendable line.
• Like the ultimate rock chick tattoo, it stays put for up to 14 hours.
• Contains crushed pearl powder, known to stimulate collagen production. It instantly hydrates skin, smoothing the surface of the eyelid, making it easy to achieve an impeccable, clean blacker than black line.
• Paraben and preservative free.
My Experience with Charlotte Tilbury Bedroom Black Rock ‘n’ Kohl Iconic Liquid Eye Pencil:
We all know the perfect eye pencil is so difficult to come by. Especially if you are searching for something jet black and also usable on the waterline which is what most eye liners fail to deliver. But I am pleased to say I found everything I was looking for in this Rock n Kohl Eye pencil from Charlotte Tilbury.
It comes in a simple pencil form. I like the fact that the pencil is not wooden which can be harsh around the eyes. Even though the length and look of this pencil is exactly like the lipliner from this brand; the fact is that instead of being rose gold like the lip liners are these are in a black shade of pencil. All the pencils look similar except for the bottom part where the color of the product is displayed.
Texture and Pigmentation:
These eyeliners are super creamy. The glide on very smooth with absolutely no tug even on the waterline. The shade “Bedroom Black” is jet black and the pigmentation is intense. 1-2 swipes will give me full color on the waterline and the same is true when used over the lash line as eyeliner.
It does set very quickly so you do need to work fast if you want to smoke it out. It sets with seconds and once it does, it does not budge. The pigmentation is not a harsh jet black when the shade is smoked out instead it becomes a very sultry black. Since it is so creamy, it does get blunt very quickly. I need to keep sharpening it with every other use.
It is a long-wearing pencil. I do have slight watery eyes but even then it stayed put 6 hours on my waterline with minimal fading in the corners. As eyeliner, it does not transfer over my eyelids and stays put for 7-8 hours after which I do see a bit of fading. To remove it completely at the end of the day, I do need an eye makeup remover. It does not irritate my eyes or make them foggy either.
Overall; another hit from the Tilbury line for me. I have honestly never been so impressed with so many products in a row and all from a single brand. This is an expensive line but I would say worth every penny.
