Application:

My Experience with Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask:

Packaging:  Comes in a sleek squeeze tube. Easy to use and travel friendly.

Consistency and Usage:  This mask is very thick yet spreads easily over the skin. You just apply a thin layer and wait for 10 minutes. In the meanwhile, it does not feel tingly and does not tighten up on the skin like regular clay masks. It does not completely dry out either.  After about 10 minutes, you need to apply a little bit of water and massage it into the face which is designed to improve circulation on the face. Upon contact with water, it turns into a gel-like texture which is very easy to massage with.  After a light massage, you need to wash off with lukewarm water and follow up with cold water to tighten pores.

Effects: Post application, I immediately noticed my skin feeling plump and soft. My dry skin did not feel stretchy, tight or uncomfortable post application which usually happened with all clay masks I have used in the past. This is not incredibly hydrating on its own for my dry skin hence I did need a follow-up moisturizer afterwards, but if you are someone with normal to oily skin, you may not feel the need to do so.

I did notice a reduction in my pore size though not remarkably, but I did notice my skin looking more even toned and radiant. It did absolutely nothing to remove gunk and deep-set black heads and white heads on my skin which was a disappointment as clay masks like GlamGlow that I have used usually clean out my skin layers deep.

Fragrance:  I absolutely love the fresh floral scent this product has which is quite refreshing and no less than a treat for the nose.

Overall, I do like this mask, but do I think it is worth $70? The answer is no! I did not see crazy fabulous results after using this to make me urge everyone to go buy it. With clay masks, I usually look for something which will clean out my pores that usually get clogged with makeup, dirt, etc., and this mask has failed to do so. I do like the fact it is quite soothing to use and never did it leave my dry skin parched and dehydrated which is mostly the reason I am unable to use clay masks and I did notice improvement in the health of my skin though not on a remarkable scale. This truly is an indulgence and a splurge.  You will like this if you are someone who loves giving yourself pampering at home.
