My Experience with Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Stoned Rose Lipstick
I have various finishes in Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks. I thought I’d start my Charlotte Tilbury reviews with the most classic finish.
Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick comes packed in this gorgeous rose gold packaging. It is a standard twist lipstick. The color Stoned Rose is a warm peachy rose shade. It has a creamy finish with a soft shine. It goes on smoothly on lips. I’d say it is a beautiful no brainer everyday shade. Especially of you have warm medium / fair skin tone, it is a very flattering everyday color. You can wear it as a formal every day color or can pair up with bold eye makeup, I think it is a very versatile shade. The lipstick is quite pigmented and gives a full opaque coverage with one swipe. It feels very comfortable on lips. I find it quite hydrating. It has a quite a distinct vanilla scent to it but it fades after a minute or so. The is no taste to the lipstick. This does not transfer a lot but I often notice it feathering around the edges of the lips, esp around my bottom lip. The lipstick has an average staying power. It stays barely around 4+ hours on my lips and pretty much fades away after that.I love the texture of this lipstick. It has that cushiony feel to it. I like to keep pressing my lips together every time I use this. It just feels so nice on lips. 😛 It does not settle in fine lines nor does it accentuate fine lines to the lips. I feel it gives an illusion of healthy hydrated lips and I totally dig that.

Overall, despite the cons I absolutely love this lipstick. The shade had become such a go to for em. Also since the weather is changing a bit here in Delhi, I do like a bit of moisture on my lips. This serves just right. Expect I do have to touch this up quite a bit. It’s not one of your long staying lipsticks. It is one of those classic old school lipstick that you can never go wrong with. I would totally recommend this lipstick to anyone.

  1. Yeah, weather is definitely changing in Delhi but I’m loving it. 😀 I love this no-fuss shade which is understated but spells luxury. Love!

  2. Thats a really pretty shade. Im liking the swatch of the second shade swatched right next to it too! 😉

I always wonder how you manage this…when you go on one of your trips and buy all the goodies. How do you resist the urge to try the stuff before you have photographed them? i assume you photograph the stuff once you come back home! I’d go berserk! 😉

    1. i know it is tough K but I do that. 😛 I start using the skincare right away to keep my sanity in place. loll!! thank you 😛 I’d review the other one soon. 😀

  3. Beautiful.. honestly as I always say I wonder such brown rosy shades can look so flattering on our Indian skintones but your pics and precision skills always outshine all dilemmas thumbs up 🙂 So much to learn from you and inspire, best wishes gal!!
