My Experience with Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Black Vinyl Mascara:
I have been obsessed about this mascara. It comes packed in this gorgeous rose gold tube that looks stunning and luxurious. There is a beautiful illustration of lashes and writing on the tube. It is a super black mascara and totally holds true to its claim of giving false eyelashes effect to the eyes.
The formula is creamy, waxy, and goes on lashes quite thick I’d say. It is by no means a “natural looking” or an everyday wear mascara. This is more of a drama and party mascara. I mean, personally, I don’t like simple, neat mascaras. I love my mascaras to be black, dramatic, intense and even a bit clumpy – this all of it.
Some lashes stick to each other whenever I use it, but I like that look. I feel it adds that effortless worn-in look to the lashes and adds to the thickness sand volume of lashes. I really don’t feel the need to wear false eyelashes with this one because it gives that lift and drama to the lashes that I expect my false lashes to give.
It has never irritated my eyes. The different bristles of the brush help in getting hold of even the teeniest bit of lash. The only thing I don’t like about the brush is that I find it difficult to use it in the very inner corner of my lashes since the brush is quite square at the tip as well. And I do end up smudging mascara on my eyes, but it holds my curl all day long.
It separates the lashes and makes them look long and thick. I have worn it for good 7-8 hours and it has helped my lashes stay curled up all day long, It also does not smudge or feather as the hours pass by. Since it is so creamy, it often get a few smudges with the mascara when I apply, but I wait for the mascara to dry and flick off the dry bits.
This is one mascara that I can repurchase at the drop of hat. I love this one so very much.
