Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks – Electric Poppy, Amazing Grace, Lost Cherry Review

Hi everyone,

I am reviewing 3 more lipsticks from the “Matte Revolution” lipstick range from Charlotte Tilbury – Electric Poppy, Amazing Grace and Lost Cherry.

Product Description:
Darlings, lipstick empowers confidence – it’s happiness in a tube! My gorgeous Matte Revolution lipsticks feature a revolutionary, angled square tip and are enriched with a secret antioxidant ingredient from the Lipstick Tree, orchid extract and 3D pigments for cashmere-soft lips that look lit from within. Amazing Grace is inspired by Grace Kelly, a vintage tea rose for pretty, polished perfection a la Nicole Kidman and Miranda Kerr

Electric Poppy:

It is a gorgeous bright coral pink lipstick. It has a bit of neonish touch to it and is totally a statement maker. It is very pigmented and one swipe gives full color payoff. The staying power of Electric Poppy is 6+ hours on me and the color leaves a beautiful pink stain behind. This is a “head turner” shade. I mostly like to wear it with softer eye makeup to balance things out.

Amazing Grace:

It is a muted rosy peach shade. It is a gorgeous everyday shade and is a great shade for those with medium skin tones. The staying power is around 4 hours on me for this shade. The staying power is average but the color is absolutely stunning. I am assuming it to be a popular shade among Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks because it is easy to pull off and a total “non brainer.” It works with all kinds of makeup. You can wear it both during day and evening.

Lost Cherry:

This is a shade that’s very similar to “Electric Poppy” except this is softer and more orange. I’d call it a soft medium-toned warm coral shade. This again is a stunning color and a beautiful summery shade. Imagine sipping pina coladas on a beach with a hat on and this lipstick on your lips – serious perfection 😀 This is a gorgeous shade for all skin tones. The staying power is around 5 hours one for this lipstick and it leaves a soft coral tint behind.

These are absolutely stunning lipsticks, in my opinion. The texture is soft matte and absolutely non drying. The lipsticks go smoothly on lips and give a powdery matte finish. They smell divine – warm chocolate-y vanilla. I feel the fragrance kind of gets on to you. All the 3 shades I have shared in this post , I mean you can never go wrong with these. These are the kind of shades you can mix and match and make them work always. These are the shades women fall for always. 😀

They don’t accentuate the lip lines, they don’t look cakey. They transfer a bit, but nothing crazy. They don’t smudge or bleed and they are very pigmented. The only cons I can mention are that I wish the labels at the bottom of the lipsticks were coloured because it would have made life easier. And second I wish they were more long lasting on lips, but other than that, these are good classic lipsticks that you tend to reach for often. I hope Charlotte Tilbury never stops making them. 🙂
