Adding a pop of color to my waterline is one of the simplest ways of adding variety to any eye look and since I am already a huge fan of the Charlotte Tilbury Rock n Kohl liner in the shade Bedroom Black, I decided to pick up a couple of more shades from this formula. This review will be on the Charlotte Tilbury Rock n Kohl Iconic Liquid Eyeliner Pencil in the shade “Elizabeth Violet.”

My Experience with Charlotte Tilbury Rock N Kohl Elizabeth Violet Iconic Liquid Eyeliner Pencil:

Packaging:  This eyeliner pencil comes in a simple, pencil format with the shade indication on the bottom which helps for easy storage and access of a particular shade. It is easy to sharpen and I love how unlike a traditional wooden pencil, it does not get ragged harsh edges.

Texture:  This eyeliner is smooth and creamy, and glides easily on the waterline without any rough feeling. It glides like butter onto the lid with full color, hence creating an eyeliner or using this to apply on the lower lash line is no effort at all. You do have 10-15 seconds before it sets to a complete budge-proof finish, hence you have to be quick to smudge it out.

Pigmentation:  Though the pigmentation is not as impressive as one swipe of full color of the shade “Bedroom Black,” it is possible to build up full color in a few strokes on the waterline. I find that warming the tip up a little by applying first on the back of my hand makes it easier to apply then on.

Shade:  The shade “Elizabeth Violet” is a gorgeous violet purple. It adds such a subtle pop of color without being too loud and apparent.

Staying Power:  The wear time is very good. It wore for about 6 hours before I started to notice fading on my waterline. As an eyeliner, it stays for over 8 hours, which is quite impressive.

Overall, this is yet another fantastic product by Charlotte Tilbury. It is creamy, has great pigmentation, is a gorgeous shade, and also long wearing. I will recommend this eyeliner to all.

• Pencil format does need sharpening which leads to product wastage when compared to other retractable liners.
