Charlotte Tilbury Veruschka Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow Review

Hi everyone,

Today’s review will be on Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow in “Veruschka.” If you like Tom Ford’s cream eyeshadows, then you will love this! It’s very similar in texture or even exactly the same (interesting fact – Charlotte Tilbury used to work as a makeup artist for Tom Ford and she helped him design some of his products). They are the easiest-to-wear eyeshadows ever! Just take a small amount, apply, blend, and you are done!

Product Description:
Eyes to mesmerise cream eye shadow pots – a clever cream-to-sheen formula that creates maximum impact with minimum effort. Simply add a sheer wash of colour with your fingertip for a flattering finish for day, or add drama for evening by applying with a blending brush for high impact, high shine lids.
$32 USD for 0.24 oz.

My Experience with Charlotte Tilbury Veruschka Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow:

This cream eyeshadow comes in a frosted jar pot, the glass is thick and heavy, which makes it looks very luxe. The top is a chocolate brown cap with the CT logo on the top.

The concept and the texture of this cream eyeshadow is the same as Tom Ford’s cream eyeshadow. It has a creamy, mousse-y texture, and is quite easy to blend. This layers beautifully and lasts the whole day. This shadow is pretty pigmented, so you need very little quantity. Also, it feels weightless on the lids. The only problem with this cream eyeshadow is that you have to let it set on the lid before going on with the second layer, otherwise it tends to crease; it takes about a minute or two to set.

“Veruschka” is a very pretty khaki colour, this is a bit sheerer than the rest. It has both silver and golden shimmer in it. It had more slip than other shades, which made it apply with less intensity in a single layer, though it was buildable to fully opaque colour.

You need such a small amount that a pot will last you forever. The lasting power of this eyeshadow is pretty amazing, will last you the whole day.

Pros of Charlotte Tilbury Veruschka Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow:

  • Easy-to-glide on formula.
  • Blendable and buildable, you can apply a sheer wash of colour or build on for a full-on dramatic look.
  • Luxe packaging.
  • It is very pigmented, just little goes a long way.
  • Glitters are not chunky.
  • Long wearing.
  • Feels weightless on the lid.

Cons of Charlotte Tilbury Veruschka Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow:

  • Tends to crease if you try to layer it before letting the first layer set.
  • Was less pigmented than the rest.
  • Expensive.
