Hope you all are doing great. Recently, I purchased two lip tints from Korean beauty brands, and today I am going to review Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Merlot Burgundy. Let’s see how it fared.
Price: $8.76 for 7 g
Vivid, long-lasting colour payoff. Stays on for 5-6 hours. Tastes like wine. Enriched with Sepivinol wine extract, which has antioxidant benefits.
How To Use:
Adjust the amount on the applicator before use. Apply from the inner lip and spread it to the outer lip line to create a gradated look.
My Experience with Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Merlot Burgundy:
This tint has the cutest packaging in the world. It’s a uniquely packaged lip tint as it comes in a mini wine bottle packaging. I love how pretty it looks. Somehow, it manages to look chic and adorable at the same time. There is also an outer cardboard box, which holds the actual wine bottle tint.
The neck of the bottle serves as the cap for the lip tint and also is color-coded with the actual tint. There is a doe foot applicator with a slanted tip which aids precise application. These wine-shaped bottles feel very lightweight and also sturdy, making them ideal for travelling.
These tints come in six beautiful wine based shades, which includes a rose coral, blush pink, chardonnay orange, shiraz red, nebbiolo red and merlot burgundy. I chose the darkest shade “Merlot Burgundy”, which is a beautiful berry reddish pink color. It is a gorgeous shade and will suit every complexion.
I always need to reapply a lip balm throughout the day but I’m happy to report that the lip tint leaves a gorgeous stain on my lips that’s long-lasting with some even staying for over 24 hours. I never have to worry about reapplying this tint when using the darker shades, but I do have to reapply the lighter shades.
I love the formula and the texture of the lip tint because it’s not so thin where it’s watery, but it’s also not too thick – it’s the perfect balance between the two where it feels lightweight and easy to spread on the lips without any mess.
There’s also no sticky feeling or tackiness with these even when they are drying. Once they get absorbed by the lips, they don’t budge at all or transfer. They have a pretty good pigmentation and give a natural-looking tinted lip stain. This product dries super quickly on the lips and doesn’t emphasize the fine lines or dry spots, like most lip tints do.
Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Merlot Burgundy has a good formula that feels moisturizing when applied on the lips, but after a few hours of wear – mostly at the end of the day – it starts to feel a bit drying, but nothing outrageous. It contains wine ingredients, which are rich in antioxidants and make this product more special.
It has a light sweet smell, which is quite nice and not overpowering at all. It is very long wearing and stays put throughout the day without moving. Removing the tint is also easy – a makeup wipe will do the job. Overall, this is a great lip tint, which looks cute and does the job pretty well.
Pros of Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Merlot Burgundy:

Doesn’t emphasise dry patches
Cons of Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Merlot Burgundy:
May feel a bit drying by the end of the day
IMBB Rating: 4/5
