Cheap and Best Makeup Products: Survey Results

cheap makeup productsOk, time to announce the survey results for our cheap and best makeup products survey. Very one-sided survey it was, with one company (no it is NOT Lakme) being miles ahead of the others in making cheap makeup products of good quality. In fact, I felt I should a survey on which cheap products of that company do you like the most. And the company is none other than the winner of our ‘Top 5 favorite lipsticks‘ survey- Maybelline. Seems that most of its products are well-priced and offer quality. The cheap products such as Maybelline whitestay UV compact, Maybelline mascaras (colossal volume express and define-a-lash), Maybelline lipsticks (colorsensational and watershine), etc. all of them found mention again and again.

And what about the other companies? Well, have a look at the pie chart. The figures besides the percentage give the number of votes each company received (For example, Lakme received 20 votes).

  1. maybelline- a very clear winner here..n colorbar too shud hav been but they hav increased thier prices a lott within a yr n haf… my 2 fav s… :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

  2. in a country like ours whee we are loaded with options sad to see a brand which is not cruelty free tops the charts!

  3. yeah…Maybelline..I really wish it gets some tough competition from ELF and NYX brands here… India has so less choices for cruelty free products. I can only think of Revlon, Chambor and Borjouis. Rest all are animal testing. Otherwise go for higher end brands like Chanel, Estee Lauder and MAC.

However, YSL, Shisiedo and Lancome also test on animals. Lancome, L’oreal and Maybelline are all bhai behen!!!

  4. Sanjeev and Rati…..good job….I downloaded the entire excel sheet and i can now choose what I want from this list…..so much easy…..do more such surveys :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

  9. maybelline would always be the best for people like me who cannot afford MAC or Bobby Brown and neither want to waste money after these ridiculously high-priced brands (i would rather shop jewellery or clothes with that money. ) as I’m not that fond of makeup. so, a maybelline or a lakme is best for my occasional wear. ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. No surprises there cause every time I shop I end up with maybelline products. The colossal mascara is the best mascara ever and the price tag is an added benefit.
