CHERYL’S OPEN PORE SERUM REVIEW
Hiya everyone, hope you are doing well.
Wondering which is this brand Cheryl’s?
WHAT THE COMPANY CLAIMS ABOUT THE SERUM
• Ideal for treating open pores caused by excessive secretion of sebum.
• Improves texture, tone & elasticity of skin giving it porcelain like appearance.
Apply Cheryl’s Open Pore Serum, massage gently twice a day. Use along With Cheryl’s Open Pore Mask once a week for best results.
QUANTITY– 30 ML
The serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. It looks somewhat like a medicine/eye drops/cough syrup/ nasivion drops bottle to me.. 😀 😀
The packaging is really…umm…different/weird, nothing fancy I would consider for a skin care product… 😐
Okay, I usually don’t care much about the packaging as long its functional for the product and usage . 🙂
This is the dropper included. It is actually useful in taking that required 2-3 drops quantity for one time use.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH PRODUCT
Well, shelling out 750 bucks on a product/brand I didn’t have much clue about is something I don’t do very often :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:
But when I read words on it like “open pore” + “serum” + “herbal” + “oily skin” + “reduces redness”, I couldn’t resist buying it.
Having tried n number of things on my enlarged pores due to acne I thought I should this try too.
The serum is light amber coloured and of thin (but not runny) consistency. It has pleasant, mild fragrance and gets absorbed in my skin quickly/easily.
I have been using this serum since past 1.5 months along with my routine CTM products. On immediate application and massaging this serum I can see some amount of skin tightening and brightening. It does reduce my pore size instantly ☺ ☺ and my skin feels soft.
However, the serum has had no permanent reduction in pore size 😮 😮
I notice my skin has become a little softer and whenever I apply this on breakout it settles quickly within a day. Also, there’s a reduction in white heads. Apart from this, I have not seen any major difference this serum has brought about in my skin. :idk: :idk: :idk:
I had really high hopes on this thing to work on my pores but I could just see very minimal effect 😐 😐 this is probably the last time I had spent this amount of money (& fell for another marketing gimmick) just for tackling my enlarged pores . I believe now, that nothing much really works on completely getting rid of enlarged pores. Pores once formed are extremely tuff to get rid of.
Summing its pros and cons below
 instantly brightens up the face
 makes skin soft and smooth on immediate application.
 With continued usage I have noticed a reduction in white heads.
 reduces redness of breakouts and they settle/heal in less time than usual
 since it’s a herbal product there were no side effects , skin irritation on my sensitive skin.
 just a little quantity like 2-3 drops are required. So one bottle will easily last 3-4 months.
 Is expensive @INR 750 for 30 ML
 has no good reduction in pore size even with continuous usage
 not easily available .
 no proper list of ingredients mentioned. Just vitamin b3 and olive leaf extract I can read. 😐
