China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Jet Stream Review

China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Jet Stream

Hi Gorgeous ladies,

How have you all been? I am enjoying the sudden cold weather in Hyderabad as it has been raining cats and dogs from the past few days. Today I would be reviewing China Glaze Nail Lacquer with Hardeners and the shade is Jetstream. This is a very sheer pink and mauve-ish with shimmer. It’s a very wearable shade for any day as its very subtle…almost neutral. Let’s see how it fared.

My take on China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Jet Stream:

As we all know that China Glaze and OPI are the leaders of the nail lacquer industry but since they were not easily available in India till the online shopping sites came to the rescue 😉 I stumbled upon this as I was shopping online for some hand and nail care products. Since, the choice of shades were not that great I ordered this safe colour. I had a similar pink from Lakme from the Tarun Tahiliani collection…sorry I don’t remember the exact shade name but it was very similar to this. I personally do not like to paint my fingernails but I do paint my toes and I prefer dark vampy shades for that and I still not have found one that I would love.

As I said that is a very neutral pink shade it give a clean and fresh manicure look to the hand. The bottle is pretty big 14ml of product there, I mean seriously do we need that much, I never have been able to finish the 8-9ml ones till date LOL!!!

The product colour in the bottle and the actual shade is a bit different and the consistency of the nail polish is on the more thin side but with 2-3 coats it looks great as it’s a very sheer so you would need those extra coats but yes!! it dries very fast. They don’t chip away fast as I have been wearing them for 3 days now and doing some chores as well and I do not see any chipping yet, I am so happy with this. Though I do not have long fingernails *sigh* they break so easily but this colour looks beautiful on long nails as well. I like the colour and would have it with me till I find something better.

Cons of China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Jet Stream:

1. Availability
2. Price maybe a con but given the quantity you get for the price I personally don’t think it’s a con anyway.

IMBB Rating: Its 4.5/5 (-5 for the thin consistency)

Will I Repurchase it?

Yes of course and would love to try more colours from this brand and OPI as well. I am looking for a very dark brown shade with mild glitter like CG midtown magic…but haven’t found any. Do let me know about your fav colours and brands in nail polish. Have a good day!!! Cheers!!!
