Today, I am here to review a gorgeous plum color nail polish from China Glaze – Purr-Fect Plum.  As the name suggests – it’s a perfect plum color. This color is categorized as a fall color, but I thoroughly enjoyed using it all through fall and winter. Plums and reds look great no matter what season you wear them as they go perfectly with every outfit, be it Indian or Western.

My Take on China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Purr-Fect Plum:

I love painting my nails. I used to change my manicure almost every single day when I was a teenager. Now, I rarely get time to change every single day, but I manage to do it every 10 days, but my toe nails are always painted in bright colors. I tend to collect various shades of pinks, reds, corals and plums to my collection.

Color: Dark berry-purple color. Perfect wine shade on the nails.

Application: It glides on the nail very smoothly without being blotchy and streaky.

Color Payoff:  It gives a true color and an opaque finish to the nails in just a single coat.

Finish: It gives a perfect glossy smooth finish to the nails without any shimmer.

Nail polish wand/brush: The brush is decently made to coat the nail polish without looking streaky and the whole nail can be covered in three swipes.

Consistency: It has the perfect consistency, neither too thick nor too watery.

Longevity: It has a decent staying power of up to 5 days without a base and top coat (even after cleaning utensils with hands and using a lot of water). 10 days with a base/top coat.

Drying Time:  It has a quick drying time, I would say 15-20 minutes in total for two coats. I use this nail polish when I’m in hurry as it dries quickly and doesn’t get clumsy as some nail polishes do when they are not completely dry.

Smell: It doesn’t have a strong smell as most of the other nail polishes have.

Ease of removal/Staining on nails: This color can be easily removed from nails with just one swipe of remover and it doesn’t leave a stain behind which is a huge plus.

Color suitable for: Looks gorgeous on any skin tone and perfect color for Indian attire.
