Packaging:

It comes in the classic China Glaze packaging. Big glass bottle with a matte black brush handle, that looks sturdy enough. The pink bottle looks so vibrant and cheerful that it just makes my heart sing.

My Take on China Glaze Nail Polish – Bump and Grind:

First off, please excuse that black ring on my index fingernail, it’s my voter’s mark that refuses to go. I have a feeling that my nail is permanently stained and I will need to let the mark grow out. *sigh*  The colour of this polish is a very vibrant neon pink that makes my hands look a tad dark but it’s a perfect polish to use while vacationing on the beach.

The texture granules in this polish are much more than Bump in The Night and Angel Wings, which makes even application a tad slower, but not impossible. Due to the abundance of texture granules, this polish is almost a single coater, I just added the second for my own satisfaction.

Like all textured polishes, chipping is an issue with this nail paint too. It looks perfectly fine for 5-6 hours (much better than the previously reviewed texture polishes) after which a few minor chips near the tip may appear. It’s best to apply a layer of top coat to prevent this. Obviously like previously reviewed polishes, this polish too is a top coat drinker. It drinks top coat like no other and retains its matte finish despite all the top coat-ing.

This polish is vibrant, textured and with a few minor fixable problems. It is certainly well worth the effort put in to resolve those issues!

    1. I bought it from an American website, hence the price. CG is exorbitantly overpriced priced in India, it’s actual price is only about 250 bucks.
