Chinese Egg Garlic Noodles Recipe and photos

This is one of the most easy and yummy Indo-Chinese recipe loved by all. It takes hardly 15 minutes and is a favorite among all people. I am a true Indo Chinese food lover, any time I can gorge on these amazing dishes. Actually roadside Chinese dishes took a toll on my health so I decided to prepare it in my own way and have it at home with lots of vegetables and no azinomoto.

 

Chinese Egg Garlic Noodles Recipe

1-We need chopped beans, carrot, 3-4 chillies, 8-10 cloves of garlic and 2 big onions and capsicum.

2-This is the egg mixture containing 1 egg, 1 chopped chilly and a bit of chopped onion and pinch of salt.

3-This is the pic of boiled noodles. To avoid sticking of noodles add more quantity of boiled water to noodles, a bit of oil and when its almost done drain the water and submerge them in cool water to remove extra starch. Noodles should not be overdone.

4-This is the pic of fried egg that we need later.

 

5-So first add 1 big tbsp of oil, when its hot add 2-3 chopped chillies.

6-Add chopped garlic cloves.

7-Now add chopped onions and fry till its golden brown.

8-Add chopped carrot.

9-Now add chopped beans into them.

10-Finally add chopped capsicum into the vegetable mixture and stir well.

11-Add salt according to taste. I skipped adding azinomoto as it has potent health risks.

12-These are the sauces and stuff we require now. I am using Ching’s paneer chilli miracle masala, you can replace it with Ching’s Schezwan miracle masala that I usually do or homemade Schezwan sauce or simply by adding soy sauce and vinegar which I am not adding as the sachet already contains these.

13-Now add green chilly sauce.

14-Follow it by adding maggi tomato sauce or any other.

15-Now add red chilly garlic sauce.

16-Empty entire sachet of paneer chilly masala and add into it.

17-Next add fried eggs that we had prepared in earlier steps.

18-Add boiled noodles on top of it.

19-Now just stir, stir, stir! 😀

    1. No Rati not vermicelli but rice noodles that we get here at Kolkata ! The are very thin and look like vermicelli though!

                1. Yaaaa Rs 2 per pouch, many a times i like to make my maggi more spicy, one pouch is provided per noodle cake so i use another one that we get here at all grocery shop for Rs 2!

                    1. No re not bhuna masala , am talking about the maggi masala which is a powder available in sachets for Rs 2, bhuna masla is for Rs 20 i think !

                2. yes, it’s called maggi magic masala or something like that.it’s good when you are in a hurry and want to add a tastemaker to your dish

        1. Malayalam movies are fab, we had one channel that used to feature all south indian movies in hindi, I noticed they have much substance and emotions than the bollywood ones!

    I always loved Ching’s cready to made chinese stuff but this looks so easy and quick 😀

    1. You can add your normal soya sauce and vinergar or schezwan sauce or even maggi masala that is available at market!

Taps………….what a wonderful recipe and that too without ajinomoto :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: ….I am a die-hard fan of roadside Chyneze food……the original chinese I find somewhat bland :sick: :sick: I will surely try it out and I am noting down all the masalas that you mentioned :haanji: :haanji:

    1. Ya Jomol, i havent added salt and replaced wheat noodles with rice noodles and loads of vegetables, its much better than road side ones, do try it out ! :thanks:

        1. oh taps! i just knew that this didn’t look like wheat noodles, i recently found out am gluten intolerant and can’t have anything with wheat, which rice noodle is this? i want to buy it.

          1. See we have only rice noodles avilable here at kolkata !! You can check priya rice noodles it really good and provivded with tastemaker 2
