How have you all been? And how is your week progressing? Mine hasn’t been that eventful because my project work has been postponed and I have college only on the last three days of the week! 😛 So the rest of the days I have been writing reviews and catching up on some tv. (I know lazy me :P) Thank you for such lovely comments on my last review. 🙂 That’s what keeps me going!

Coco Chanel says- “A woman who doesn’t wear perfume has no future.” I don’t know how far that is true but yes perfumes have been a major part of my life in the past and present, and will be a major part of my future life as well! 😛 Okay, I have been a perfume person from as fas as I could recall. My dad has been working abroad since when I was in 1st Grade so when he comes down I get a lot of goodies *happy dance* And how can it be incomplete without perfumes! 😛 So the other day I was organizing my shelf and found a cartload of perfumes I haven’t reviewed! So be ready for a marathon of perfume reviews! 😛

The product I am going to review today is Chris Adams CA Classic Pour Femme which is the feminine variant of the Chris Adams Classic perfume for men from their Platinum Collection. This one is really close to my heart because this was gifted to me by my boyfriend 😀

For people who haven’t heard of Chris Adams, here is a small introduction from their website :

Price: £ 18 (Approximately Rs. 1600) for 100 ml or 3.3 FL OZ. But they are on sale on their website for £ 10.5 ( approximately Rs.950) 😀

My Experience with Chris Adams CA Classic Pour Femme :
Firstly the packaging, the outer box was nothing great and so I discarded it when I opened it the day I got this. So sorry I don’t have a picture of that. The outer box was brown in colour and had the name of the perfume over it. That is all. :O A very boring box I can say. But the perfume bottle is quite interesting 😛 It looks like those containers used to store water in deserts during olden days made up of animal skin (I really don’t know what they are called) It is brown in colour with hints of black giving that rugged look to the bottle. If that seems very manly to you then no it is NOT thanks to the very feminine shape of the bottle 😛 The bottle has a leather cover all over it and the cap also has been covered with leather to give that desert kinda feel to it 😛 The sides of the bottle are sewn with thread to give that actual feel of water cans made of animal skin 😀 The cap is attached to the bottle with a leather strap. But I can’t say that it is travel friendly because the cap doesn’t quite sit right because of the leather strap attached to the bottle. It doesn’t leak though. But I love collecting perfume bottles and this was surely a different one in my wardrobe. ☺ One con of the packaging is that since the bottle is completely covered, it’s hard to know when it’s done ☹ I have been using this perfume from the past two months and since I love vanilla scent I fell in love with this one. When applied, it has a sweet fruity smell and after a few minutes settles down to a floral one. One of the ingredient used here Heliotrope is a purple flower with sweet vanilla scent. The name Heliotrope comes from the tendency to turn its flowers and leaves toward the sun over the course of each day and at night it readjusts itself to face eastward, to be ready for sunrise. That is why the name. 😀 After sometime, the perfume settles down to a musky fragrance. These perfumes are a perfect blend of fruit, floral and musk.

As far as wearability is concerned, this can be worn on occasions than on a regular basis! For everyday use, it would be too much is what I feel ☺ Staying power is quite good for the price. I apply 3-4 sprays of it in the morning and the smell lingers almost for 5-6 hours. And after that the fragrance doesn’t die, it settles down to a musky fragrance. ☺ On the whole, this is a sweet fragrance which women will love for its fruity and floral scent !!

Pros of Chris Adams CA Classic Pour Femme :

• Sweet blend of fruit, floral and musk.
• Packaging is too cute. A must for ladies who love collecting perfume bottles. 😛
• Linear Fragrance- it doesn’t die.
• Staying power is quite good for the price.

Cons of Chris Adams CA Classic Pour Femme :

• Not travel friendly
• Won’t know how much quantity is left because of the packaging
• Too many sprays can give a very strong fragrance which may be unpleasant.
• Can be occasionally used and not every day.
• Availability might be an issue.

Will I repurchase/recommend Chris Adams Pour Femme?
I like this fragrance but I would try other variants as well. A lady can be happy with one particular fragrance said no one! 😛

I would recommend it to people who love fruity and floral fragrance. It is a win-win 🙂
