It is almost the end of all the Indian festivals for this year now, and it makes me slightly sad to think of it, despite not being lucky enough to celebrate all the occasions, I will still miss all the festivities. Anyway, I have another product for you all today, that I shall be reviewing for you. It is a lipstick by Dior and is called Rialto (988).

My Experience with Christian Dior Rouge Dior Lipstick Rialto 988:

My mum and I recently purchased this on one of our shopping trips in London and I am absolutely loving this colour.

The packaging of this lipstick is like all other Dior lipsticks, it is absolutely luxurious and stunning. The outer packaging is a gorgeous rich royal blue colour- the standard colour for Dior beauty and makeup products. The brand name ‘Dior’ and ‘CD’ are embossed on the front of the packaging and on the top of the cap.

The shade of this colour is absolutely gorgeous. Some people think it is a deep red, however for me it is a stunning deep, rich, berry coloured lipstick with blue undertones to it. The blue undertone is always great to have in lipsticks, since it brightens the face so easily and lets not forget the teeth. This is great colour for those ladies, who are slightly weary of wearing reds on their faces. The pigmentation of this lipstick is unquestionably great. A single swipe is enough to help you achieve a good opaque colour, that looks really rich and beautiful on the lips.

The lipstick is extremely creamy upon application and glides really smoothly on the lips, this is a quality that I completely love about Dior lipsticks. It is such a great experience and an actual treat to apply on the lips. This lipstick like the others I own, always makes my lips feel hydrated, nourished and moisturised. Moreover, the lipstick does not have any odd chemical taste to it, however it smells so lovely. The fragrance to this lipstick is creamy and like shea butter. The lipstick does not feel unnatural on my lips, I feel very comfortable while wearing this colour on my lips and the colour did not bleed despite me not wearing any lip liner. As for the staying power goes, I can definitely only speak highly of Dior for this. It has a great staying power on my lips, it does not fade away so easily, despite me drinking water or eating small meals. With big meals however, I would recommend you to reapply the colour if you want a more fresher appearance.
