Ciate London Makeup Melter Makeup Remover Review

Skin tone: medium to dusky

Hello beauties,

Hope you all are doing great. I am quite tired of makeup cleansing wipes and I always wanted to try a makeup removing balm. So, I decided to try the one by Clinique, but when I was looking for similar products, I came across this one by Ciate London. Since this one also had awesome ratings, I decided to give it a go. So today, I am going to review the Ciate London Makeup Melter Makeup Remover for you.

My Experience with Ciate London Makeup Melter Makeup Remover:

Much like the majority of cleansing balms, Ciate London Makeup Melter Makeup Remover also comes neatly presented within a jar, complete with a screw top. It is a transparent frosted jar with a silver cap. There is also a silver and black outer carton with the product details. I love the packaging as it shouts luxury.

I’ll admit that I really enjoy dipping and chipping away at the cleansing balm from the tub. It may seem messy but it is worth it as it gives the experience of comfortably clean skin afterwards. Ciate London Makeup Melter Makeup Remover is not the firmest textured balm, so it doesn’t require a lot of effort in terms of application and makeup removal.

The balm is white in colour and feels very light on the skin. If you’re yet to experience a cleansing balm of any type, you are in for a treat. To apply the Makeup Melter, I usually scoop out a coin sized blob and gently massage it onto my dry skin. Then, the balm starts to become an oil. Slowly, but surely, I can see my makeup gently melting off; now all that is left to do is rinse and wipe the skin with a wet wipe.

Ciate London Makeup Melter Makeup Remover Claims

In my opinion, this has to be the most gentle yet effective method to cleanse. It is fragrance-free and features a base of murumuru butter for a truly indulgent texture; not to mention, it is free from parabens and is kind to skin, thanks to its infusion of essential fatty acids which aid skin repair.

The Vitamin E in the balm aids softening and moisturising, thus this balm does so much more than just makeup removal. Unlike other heavily scented cleansers this one can be applied all over the face to quickly remove all traces of makeup minus skin irritation. It removes even waterproof mascara and the toughest of kajal.

I like this product a lot as it feels very soft on the skin, unlike makeup wipes. And, it nourishes the skin as it cleanses without stripping off the skin’s essential oils. This balm is also made of lash-enhancing ingredients, which make this an extra special product.

There is one concern, though. Clinique gives you around 125 ml of product for AUD 55 but Ciate London offers only 40 ml for AUD 28. So, this makes the product way too costlier than Clinique. But, I really don’t care about the price as long as it works well for me.

Ciate London Makeup Melter Makeup Remover Texture

Overall, I am in love with this one. Ciate London Makeup Melter is a breeze to apply and it removes makeup without any residue or clogged pores. It is well-formulated, and most importantly, effective and skin-friendly. If this is how Ciate London has ventured into skincare, I cannot wait to see the rest of their collection.
