My Experience with Ciate Mini Chinchilla Nail Polish:
‘Chinchilla’ is one of a kind grey. It is a grey with blue undertones so much so that it appears more blue in the pictures than grey. But on nails, there is no mistaking the grey hue with a hint of blue. It is a really elegant and serene colour. If you love blue or grey, you won’t be able to stop yourself from wanting it.
The brush is flat and makes application of the nail paint smooth. It deposits the right amount of nail paint on the nails. The pigmentation is good. Two coats of the nail paint bring out the true colour. The coats apply smoothly and without any streaks. This shade belongs to the famous ‘Crème’ family of Ciate Nail Polishes. The finish is gel-kind and enhances the beauty of the nails.
The staying power is very good. With two coats, the nail polish lasts for about 8-10 days and starts chipping only after 5-6 days. I am super-impressed with its staying power. The drying time is super quick, just what I want in my nail paints!
Pros of Ciate Mini Chinchilla Nail Polish:
• Unique bluish grey shade.
• Beautiful crème finish.
• Dries very fast.
• Lasts for 5-6 days without chipping.
• Free of formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate, formaldehyde resin, and camphor.
Cons of Ciate Mini Chinchilla Nail Polish:
• Availability in India.
• Fairly expensive.
Ciate Caviar Gene Pool
This gene pool is for Science Geek Chic style, packed with a rainbow of colour simply sprinkle to wet polish and watch your friends (not so chemical) reactions. Wow!
How to Apply:
•Work on one nail at a time and apply two coats of the enclosed Ciaté Paint Pot shade.
•Place your finger over the tray and sprinkle Caviar pearls over your painted nail ensuring you do this whilst the nails are still wet.
•Once fully covered, gently press and compact the Caviar pearls into your nail bed to ensure durability.
•Once finished, leave your nails to completely dry for 15 to 20 minutes.
•Voila! You now have perfectly Caviar manicured nails
$8 for 5 ml.
My Experience with Ciate Caviar Gene Pool:
‘Gene Pool’ is a part of Ciate’s Caviar family. It is a mix of tiny pearls in various colours like blue, pink, purple, yellow, red etc. The mini bottle filled with multi-hued pearls looks really alluring. You want to give it a go as soon as you see it.
The staying power is good as far as Caviar manicure goes. It lasts for about 1-2 days and the pearls start falling off soon after the application. So, it is advised that you apply them just before that special occasion when you want all attention on your classy manicure. It is a special manicure so I am happy with its staying power. It really will grab eyeballs wherever you go. So, I say keep it for those special occasions as it is not an everyday manicure.
Pros of Ciate Mini Caviar Genepool:
• Gorgeous mix of pearls.
• Beautiful caviar effect.
• Pearls stick to nail paint easily.
• Gives a 3D effect.
• Gives a perfect party look.
Cons of Ciate Mini Caviar Genepool:
• Availability in India.
• Fairly expensive.
• High maintenance.
• Lasts for a really short time.
