Hey pretty women,
First of all, a big thank you to all for those lovely wishes. It meant a lot. So today, I am going to talk about something that was a weddign anniversary splurge for me. It is a Ciaté nail paint in the shade Ferris Wheel. I call it a splurge because honestly speaking, I am not the kind of person who will spend so much on a nail paint, but one sight of the range of pastel shades that Ciaté offers, and you can’t leave the store without buying one. I had actually bought two. The other one was shade Hoopla. I lost it during the last wedding season. Everybody wanted to try it and it got misplaced 🙁 Never mind! So, did I like it getting on the Ferris Wheel? Let’s see:
About Ciaté Paint Pot Ferris Wheel:
A pastel blue so pretty it will send you into a spin, pair with your favourite party dress for a sweet stylish look. Adorable!
£9.00 (Rs. 1000, in India) for 13.5 ml.
My Experience with Ciaté Paint Pots – Ferris Wheel:
Ciaté nail paints come in really beautiful glass bottles with a satin bow. I have never seen such a cute packaging of a nail paint. Actually that cute black bow was the first reason to buy this! 😛 And the shade names are equally cute! The texture of the varnish is crème. They come in textures like glitter, pearl, matte, crème.
Ferris Wheel is beautiful pale pastel blue, which is a bit sheer in the first coat. Also, I found it a little streaky in the first coat, if I may say that. The application is easy and very smooth. With two coats, it is completely opaque, and the actual color, which you see when you look at bottle, comes out. On drying, nails are superglossy and soooo smooth to touch!
I usually reserve pastel nail paints for scorching summers as they are a treat to the eyes, but every time I am wearing something floral, I go for this shade, as it complements them completely. Even if you are wearing a floral scarf on a cold day, it looks so pretty, though the other day my mommy asked why I had zombified my nails! In her words, aise lag raha hai, khoon ki kami hai :P. Do you think so?
Now, the most important thing that that we all look for in a nail paint – lasting power. For me, it lasts quite long. No chipping and no fading out of the color even on the 4th day. That’s something for me, considering all the turmoil my nails have to undergo. I highly recommend Ciaté paint pots, if you don’t mind spending so much on a nail paint.
Pros of Ciaté Paint Pots – Ferris Wheel:
- Really long lasting, doesn’t chip.
- Beautiful pastel shades.
- Super cute packaging.
- Smooth finish.
- Good quantity.
Cons of Ciaté Paint Pots – Ferris Wheel:
- Availability (only in Sephora, as far as I know).
- Price, at least for me!
Would I Repurchase Ciaté Paint Pots – Ferris Wheel ?
Definitely! May be! Yes I will!
