DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Use long strokes to wipe excess makeup on a tissue or paper towel. Pour a small amount of brush cleaner in a bowl or other container, and dip brush or tool in cleaner. Remove immediately. Wipe clean on tissue. Repeat a second time if necessary. Allow to air-dry for two to five minutes. For faster drying (30 seconds), lay brushes flat on non-porous surface, hold brushes in place by handles, and fan hair dryer from six inches away for a maximum of 30 seconds.

My Experience with Cinema Secrets Brush Cleaner

As much as I love doing my makeup I hate the aftermath that it bring which is the dreaded weekly cleaning of my brushes. Normally I used to use my own mix of Baby shampoo and dish soap to clean and disinfect the brushes but I cannot stand the whole process of washing and drying them. I was hoping and searching for a quick fix when lo and behold I came across this wonderful product which has made life so much easier.

Packaging: Nothing fancy here just a plain old plastic bottle with a screw on cap. You pour as much or as little as you need. It is filled with this bright blue liquid which is unlike any other brush cleaner in the market.
Performance: This truly has lived up to its name as the best brush cleaner in the market. As the photos I have taken stand proof this cleaner gets rid of every little speck of makeup on brushes yet its not at all harsh on my brushes and leaves the super soft and feeling brand new.

Best part about this cleaner is that it is quick dry formula (which means it does contain some sort of alcohol which also disinfects and evaporates instantly) and it takes little to no time to dry and you brushes are instantly ready to use.

Ways I like to use Cinema Secrets Brush Cleaner

I like to use this product two different ways.
First is when I use this for my weekly deep cleansing. I fill a bowl with the cleaner just enough to dip my brush head in it. Once the bristles are saturated I wipe the brush on paper towel in a 8 like motion. Here is when I see all the residue makeup on my brush just come off on the paper towel. I lay the brush on the paper towel to dry which hardly takes a couple of minutes. Result is super duper clean brushes which can be evidently seen in some of my white-tip Real technique and Sigma brushes. I use this technique to clean all types of brush be it foundation, blush, eye brush or gel liner brush. All of them are left without a trace of makeup on them.

Second way I use to use them in during I do my makeup. As you all would have experienced sometime that when you do eye makeup especially if you do not have a stock pile of brushes which makeup artists have to use for every different color, you would know the pain that if you dip the brush in a dark color you cannot use the same brush to blend a lighter color without it looking muddy. For that problem, I fill a spray bottle with this cleaner and in between uses I just spray the tip of brush with this blue liquid and wipe off on a paper towel in the same 8 motion. Since I have not saturated the brush with the liquid brush becomes dry and ready to use for you lighter colors instantly.

Fragrance:

This cleaner has a very strong sweet vanilla type scent but the scent does not linger on you brushes when they are dry. On one hand I am happy that this cleaner does not have a nauseating alcoholic scent but the strong vanilla scent also may be too overwhelming for some people with sensitive noses.
So that concludes the review. I will hands down recommend this product to each and every one of you. I love the fact that this is not super expensive product yet it is so useful and time saving hence a must have.
