I am back with another review (I have to stop saying this line :P). Anyway, today I have an underrated product which is the City Color Be Matte Bronzer. I recently came across a YouTuber talking about City Color’s Be Matte blushes and bronzers which really attracted me so I picked up the bronzer to try it. I am not someone who puts on too much blush but I love matte bronzers because you can contour with them, use them as eyeshadows and also bronze up your face. I am going off topic as usual. Anyhow, if you want to know my thoughts on this bronzer then keep on reading.
Price: $3.99 (excluding shipping charges). Yes, it is super affordable!
Bring flat foundation to life with Be Matte Bronzer! This powder bronzer has a smooth, completely matte finish perfect for natural sunkissed color. Also great for contouring!

Brown Sugar – Cool
Chocolate Truffle – Cool

My Experience with City Color Be Matte Bronzer Chocolate Truffle:
Pigmentation: This bronzer is nicely pigmented. The colour glides on easily and blends beautifully. Plus if you go too much into the bronzer, you can mess it up on your face because of the good pigmentation. I am pretty happy with the pigmentation, no complains here!
Texture: The texture is smooth and soft but not very buttery. I wish this bronzer would be a little softer in texture. The good thing is that the bronzer did fall once and it did not break. So maybe if it would be too buttery, it would get shattered like my high end bronzers!
I am pretty pleased with the colour payoff and the texture is not bad at all. I would just cut 0.2 points for the texture. Anyways, I picked up the shade Chocolate Truffle (cool-toned shade) because it seemed like a proper brown when I was placing the order. It is quite difficult to make out the colour difference when ordering online but anyways the colour wasn’t what I expected but I like this shade. The colour has a pink undertone (which you can see in the picture). The good thing is that if you want to skip a blush and only bronze the skin, this colour is incredible for that.
I did not use this for contouring because I use a shade slightly darker for that but I love that the bronzer gave my cheeks some colour. I skipped the blush when I wore this and trust me, it looked great! This product stayed on my oily skin for 5 hours which again is amazing. If you have small bumps on your face, there is a possibility that the bronzer could accentuate them a little. But that wasn’t a big issue for me personally. Nobody is perfect :P. Overall, I am going to be using this product a lot because I liked it and it is so affordable! Plus it sat well on my skin for quite a long time; it gives sheen to the skin and it doesn’t really have any kind of fragrance.
Pros of City Color Be Matte Bronzer Chocolate Truffle:

• Stayed on my oily skin for 5 hours.

Cons of City Color Be Matte Bronzer Chocolate Truffle:

IMBB Rating: 4.5/5
Would I Repurchase City Color Be Matte Bronzer Chocolate Truffle:
I am enjoying this bronzer at the moment. This underrated bronzer is affordable and incredible. I won’t repurchase this because it will take me quite a long time to finish this one.
