My Experience with City Color M4 Berry Be Matte Lipstick:
This lipstick comes in a matte black rectangular packaging. It has a transparent lid. I really like the packaging because it is neat and classy. Only the name of the product is printed and rest details are on the little sticker. The lipstick is a slanted one and is round in shape. It makes for easy application of the lipstick.
“M4” is called Berry and it is the second most gorgeous shade in this range. I like it because it is really nicely pigmented and is very comfortable lipstick. It looks super pretty on. This is a pink shade with subtle shimmer. This shade gives my lips a satin to semi-matte finish. The shimmers are very subtle and not bold, in-your-face. These shimmers add an extra dimension to the lips and don’t make it look flat matte. I don’t like shimmer on my lips at all, but this one, I like.
The texture of this lipstick is as creamy on the lips, as on the hand when swatched. This doesn’t feel extremely drying on the lips like other shades. This shade feels very comfortable to wear. Also, it doesn’t go on patchy, it goes on very smoothly on the lips.
This shade also doesn’t particularly need a lip balm underneath it and you can get away without one too. This is a very forgiving color and would suit a lot of different skin tones.
This lipstick lasts for 3-4 hours depending on eating/drinking/talking. Normally it lasts up to 5 hours with some fading.
