Miss Claire Lipstick – 44, Review, Swatches, Dupe

I bought two of these during my crazy mall-hopping session in Pune a month ago! I practically covered one mall each and I loved Amanora the best, and the Koregaon Plaza as well. I’m still to go to Phoenix though. As far as these lippies go, I bought them from an older mall in Pune named Mariplex. 🙂

These lippies I think costed me around Rs.200 or so. What I liked about them is that precise applicator and the slim packaging. Also, the texture is very much like the NYX round lipsticks and the Maybelline moisture extreme lipsticks. They feel quite soft, and yet not delicate, on the sheer side and the color is very glossy as in the finish is not matte, it is moisture finish.

I picked this shade up in 44, this is a gorgeous brownish-pink mauve shade, I am into the non-brick phase and I’m trying out a lot of pinks and mauves. This is a soft mauve shade and has no shimmer but soft moisture gloss finish. I like how natural it looks, almost like an MLBB shade. I like how it makes lips look plumper and soft.

This lasts easily for 3 to 4 hours to my surprise.It does not dry out lips and the sheen does fade off in two hours but the color stays for three hours. The finish is very much like the NYX round lippies for me, but with better staying power.

The problem is that it is a very slim twist up kind of lippy, with very less product inside.I will finish this up soon I think which I am happy about, I like the outer shiny packaging but the inside feels a little plasticky and springy when you twist it up.

It might bleed and may need a lip liner with it. Apart from that, it is quite moisturizing and soft in every way. The tiny lipstick inside is so slim and I enjoy the precise application.

For everyone who doesn’t get this brand close to them, look what I Found! Lakme Enrich Satin in 134 is a exact thicker dupe to it!Rejoice!

Last Word:

I’m happy I got this light mauve cute lipstick for daily wear. I am picking up more next time I got Pune as this will finish sooner than I thought.
