Packaging: Clarins 06 Rosewood Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector comes packaged in an ultra slim lipstick bullet. The lower portion of the lipstick bullet is similar to the shade, Rosewood, in this case and the upper portion of the bullet and the cap both are golden. Even the packaging is very light and travel-friendly, just like the lip balm. This sleek and elegant tube comes packaged in a cherry red cardboard box.
My Experience with Clarins 06 Rosewood Instant Light Lip Balm Perfector:
I have used Clarins Extra-Firming Lip and Contour Balm on daily basis, like at least once a day, and have seen positive results. I like carrying a handy lip balm stick in my purse for on-the-go use. This time, I opted for this Clarins lip balm perfector which is an absolutely beautiful pink toned nude. The colour and gloss both are subtle; it feels like I am wearing a mildly tinted glossy balm. Its gel- based buttery texture melts instantly and gives a sheer coverage to my lips. It does not feel balmy or sticky.
It smells delicious and tastes sweet as it has inclusions of Shea butter and mango. This ultra slim tube is handy. The balm delivers moisture to the lips and keeps them hydrated till it lasts. Without eating or drinking, the lasting power is around three hours. The colour and gloss are very sheer and do not give coverage to my pigmented lips. I usually outline my lips with a lip pencil and then wear this instant light lip balm.
It glides on easily and applies effortlessly. My lips feel soft, smooth, and hydrated. The texture is very light – as good as ‘barely there’. It does not dry or irritate my sensitive lips and keeps them hydrated and protected as long as it lasts. This balm can be worn over matte lip liners to get a glossy tint. Still, this balm cannot replace or substitute my Clarins Extra-Firming Lip and Contour Balm.
