My Experience with Clarins 19 Chestnut Brown Rouge Eclat Age Defying Lipstick:
This Clarins lipstick in Chestnut Brown 19 is a deep brown shade and is suitable for all complexions. This shade suits my moderately fair complexion. It gives a luminous shine and a fuller look to the lips. The shade is dark and intense; pigmentation is okay not so great. It stays on the lips for hardly two to three hours without eating or drinking.
This lipstick vanishes without leaving any stain on the lips, but lips continue to feel moisturised as if wearing a lip balm or lip gloss. True to its claim, it has a satin, smooth texture and age defying factor which keeps my lips soft, hydrated and nourished. This lipstick is not only light in weight, but also feels light on the lips. It does not smudge or spread after application. However using a lip liner is a must.
It gives an even texture and beautiful radiance to the lips. I have sensitive lips which tend to dry easily; this lipstick does not dry or dehydrate my lips but keeps them soft and smooth. I use my Revlon Colorstay Lip Liner in Chocolates to outline my lips, and then apply this lipstick. This further enhances the look of my lips. After using True Aubergine shade, this shade was a disappointment, as far as staying power and pigmentation are concerned.
