I bring to you some products from my back burner. My backburner because they have been used by me for months but haven’t got around to being reviewed. This one’s a hydrating Mask from Clarins.
Product Details (From the Website):
An oasis of comfort for dry, devitalized skin.
Skin Type: Dry
Creamy formula restores freshness, radiance and comfort to dehydrated skin in 5-10 minutes. Katafray draws moisture to the skin—then seals it in to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Sorbier Bud helps stimulate micro-circulation for a healthy-looking glow.
How to apply: Warm product between palms. Apply a thick layer to clean face and neck. Wait 5-10 minutes while mask is absorbed. Remove excess with a cotton pad soaked in Toner.
Price: INR 2300 for 75ml (I have had this product for a fairly long time now so the price may have gone up).
My experience with Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask for Dehydrated Skin:
The product comes in a nice squeezable blue tube – easy on the eyes. So its easy to manage the quantity of product being dished out. It comes packaged in a white cardboard box – typical of Clarins.
The product has a white, soft cream consistency – it spreads easily. I use a small dollop to cover my face and neck with a thin layer of the product. I apply to washed face. Upon application, in a couple of minutes, it gives a transparent sheen to the skin and stays put. Its not runny, so does not get messy.
After 10-15minutes, post absorption, I rinse it off with water. The skin instantly feels softer and supple. The skin feels pampered. The skin actually feels hydrated – so the product claims stand true.
Over a period of time, of using it once weekly, apart from the skin feeling better, there is lightening of pigmentation as well. It clarifies and nourishes the skin so that no new breakouts have happened and has not adversely affected my skin.

Cons of Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask for Dehydrated Skin:
