Clarins Hydraquench Intensive Serum Biphase Review

I am so glad that I got to try Clarins because not a single product out of the ones I have used have turned duds for me.  Subtly fragranced, Clarins skin care products work on the skin effectively.  This serum I am reviewing today is a bi-phase serum which is for all skin types.  A little product info first.

Product Description:

Intensive rehydrating and repairing treatment specifically formulated for Asian skin.  Formulated with hyaluronic acid and extracts of katafray and inca peanut, this bi-phase serum acts at all levels to keep skin looking matte and restore soft, youthful looking radiance, 2 patents pending.  Allergy tested, non-comedogenic.

My Take on Clarins Hydraquench Intensive Serum Biphase:

This bi-phase layer serum is so lightweight that it seems water like, the serum is blue in color.  This serum seems to have two layers and instructions mention to shake the bottle well before use.  Upon shaking well, the mixture turns a little milky from outside the bottle, but out of the pump comes out as blue liquid.  I use this serum after the cleansing and toning routine.  Only a pump or two is required for the entire face.  The serum gets absorbed into the skin quickly and immediately leaves the skin supple, soft, hydrated, and moisturized.  Foundation and other makeup can be worn over the serum, can be used during day time or before hitting the bed.  I have not had any reaction while using this product, no acne breakouts, no rashes, no patches on the skin.

Clarins Hydraquench Intensive Serum Biphase 5

I have noticed good improvement in skin’s texture after incorporating this serum into my skin care routine.  My face remains hydrated throughout without it being feeling excessively greasy.  Oily skin girls who usually break out with regular serums, should try this because this is non-comedogenic.

Clarins Hydraquench Intensive Serum Biphase 6

This serum contains a whole lot of good and exotic ingredients – Katafray Bark extract, Hyaluronic acid, Alfaalfa extract, Inca peanut, red algae extract, Alpine Willow Herb, Pomegranate, Arctic Cloudberry, White tea extract.

Clarins Hydraquench Intensive Serum Biphase 8

I am so happy to use this serum because it gives that much-needed moisture content to my face without being oily.

  2. hey this sounds too good… i have used the white plus serum, which was pretty good… bt for some reasons i wasn’t completely satisfied with it, maybe i expected some miracle or something… i wld really love to try this out though, since my skin definitely lacks hydration… thanks for the review 🙂

    1. Hi Deepa, this does provide the required hydration for oily skin, doesn’t break out at all, so you can try this *powder*

  4. Jomo, this sounds really nice, super review. *clap* *clap* I was actually looking for a serum which reduces dark spots and acne marks.. Does this do anything for them? Or will it be a better option to buy the white plus serum?

    1. Hey..
Even i got the white plus serum for my dark spots n acne marks n even after religiously using it for 2 months it didn’t give me the desired effect, though i must tell u tht it did give me amazing glow.. so i wldn’t suggest u to buy it for the dark spots..
Though i wld suggest u to try the kiehl’s dark spot corrector serum.. i got a small tester for it n after using it for jst one week i cld see my spots have lightened noticeably..
