My Experience with Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector 01:
This lip perfector comes in a pretty baby pink tube with a golden screw on cap. It has a sponge applicator. The packaging is chic and travel friendly. As it is in the form of a plastic tube, there are no chances of breakage or spillage. Overall, I like the packaging of the lip perfector.
This lip product is a baby pink gloss with very tiny shimmer particles. I believe the shimmer is meant to act as a reflective medium to make lips appear bigger. The formulation of the product is quite thick. It has a very sweet, candy-like scent that I like. The color appears opaque in the tube.
On application, it feels slightly heavy on the lips. I prefer to massage it into my lips and then apply other lip products over it. On its own, the product provides high shine and plumping effect to the lips. It keeps the lips moisturized for a very long time. However, on my pigmented lips, the colour does not show up at all. This colour would better suit fair-skinned people and people with non-pigmented lips.
Under lipstick, it keeps the lips moisturized. However, it cannot be used under matte lipsticks. Moreover, the lipstick is more prone to fading and rubbing off during eating or drinking. It would work well on its own, especially for everyday use, as it treats the lips along with providing shine and plumping effect.
Over any other lip product, it does not fare very well. It tends to remove the colour during application. I like to use it as an overnight treatment for my lips rather than use it during the day. Overall, it is a so-so product.

Cons of Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector 01:
- Applicator becomes stained when used over other lipsticks.
- Sticky formula.
- Shade will not suit medium or dark sinned people.
- Does not work well with other lip products.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector 01?
I would not be repurchasing this as I think it is an okay product. It definitely keeps the lips moisturized, and can be used as a lip treatment. I feel there are products from other brands that fare better. I do not see myself using this on a daily basis.
