Price: $45
Product Description:
Hectic days, late nights? Stress and lack of sleep can leave your eye area looking dull, tired and puffy. Clarins’ must-have formula keeps eyes looking younger, fresher, brighter by visibly minimizing first lines and signs of fatigue—including dark circles and puffiness. Its refreshing, cream-gel texture instantly soothes eye contours. An ultra-cold, cryo-metallic application tip enhances drainage so eyes appear instantly luminous and more youthful-looking. You’ll love what you see.

Key Ingredients:
Escin from horse chestnut and caffeine help visibly diminish puffiness and dark circles resulting from lack of sleep.
Organic teasel holds a wealth of revitalizing virtues. Also known as Venus’ basin, teasel extract helps visibly minimize fine lines caused by a stressful lifestyle.

My Experience with Clarins Multi-Active Eye:

Clarins Multi-Active Eye Review Packaging

Packaging: It comes packaged in a pink colored tube which has a cyro-metallic applicator attached and golden and white colored cap with “Clarins” written on it. The cyro-metallic applicator has a tiny outlet. This tube comes packed in a white colored cardboard box. Packaging can be termed travel-friendly if carried in the box provided.

Having used La Prairie Anti-Aging Eye and Lip Contour Cream and Clinique Superdefense SPF20 Age Defense Eye Cream, this time I opted for Clarins Multi-Active Eye. I have also used and liked Clarins Multi-Active Day Cream SPF 20, and so, I decided to try their eye cream from this range.

It’s an off white colored cream with a serum-like consistency. Easy to apply and blend. Does not feel sticky or creamy. Does not dry or dehydrate or irritate my sensitive eye contour skin. It keeps it moisturized, soft and supple. Packaging comes with a cyro-metallic applicator which can be used for applying and massaging the cream around the eye contour area. The only problem is that when the applicator is placed against the skin and the tube is pressed, the tiny outlet does not ooze out the right quantity of cream, it’s either too less, or nothing, or too much. I prefer to take a tiny dollop of the cream on my finger tip and place it under each eye. Then using the applicator, I start applying and massaging the cream all around my eye contour in circular motions. I start from the outer corner, under my eye and move towards the inner corner and then upwards from the inner corner of the eye lid to the outer corner and so on. I do this for a few seconds for each eye, it gives a relaxed, fresh, soothing and rejuvenating feeling.

My eye contour area feels softer and smoother, looks brighter and fresher. Keeps my skin moisturized throughout the day, I either use it in the daytime or sometimes even at night. I do prefer and like the concept of the massage applicator. An ultra-cold, cryo-metallic tip, when applied to the eye contour gives an immediate decongesting effect. It enhances drainage to help reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles. Visibly smoothes the fine lines around the eye contour and helps diminishes the look of dark circles.
