My Personal Views on Clarins Rouge Éclat Age Defying Lipstick in 06 True Aubergine:

Eye catching, gorgeous-looking, gold-coloured lipstick tube comes in a dark red cardboard box. Shade is mentioned on the box and bottom of the lipstick tube.
True aubergine is a deep purple shade, looks very beautiful and is suitable for all complexions. I love this shade on my moderately fair complexion. Shade is dark and intense, has very good pigmentation, gives a luminous shine, and a fuller look to the lips. The only drawback is this shade is not as long lasting as claimed, but leaves an even stain on the lips. Without meals this shade easily stays on lips for 5 to 6 hours; however, after meals it fades leaving an even smooth stain on the lips.
The lipstick has a satin smooth texture and age defying factor which keeps my lips soft, hydrated and nourished. This lipstick is not only light in weight, but also feels light on the lips. It does not transfer, smudge or spread after application and gives even texture and beautiful radiance to the lips.
I have sensitive lips which tend to dry easily; this lipstick does not dry or dehydrate my lips, but keeps them soft and nourished. I use this shade very often and it is a nice shade for regular wear. I like the exquisite lipstick tube in gold colour; it looks very elegant and nice to hold.
It is easy to remove with any lip makeup remover, cleanser or facial wash. I use my Revlon wine colorstay lip liner pencil to outline my lips and then apply this. This further enhances the look of my lips. I do not use any lip primer or base under this lipstick nor any gloss on the top. Colour is buildable from moderate to a dark intense shade, depending on the number of swipes.
