This post has been long due. I have used this product for complete two months and have been waiting to write its review, don’t know why this kept on delaying. Anyway, today I shall be reviewing Clarins White Plus Clear Softening Peeling Gentle Renewing Lotion. I got this in my Blisscovered box in January. Though the quantity offered was 30 ml, it easily lasted me two months as it had to be used twice weekly (in fact I used it thrice a week). Please read on further to find out my experience with the product.
Product Being Reviewed:
Clarins White Plus +HP Clear Softening Peeling Gentle Renewing Lotion.
INR 2000 for 125 ml. It comes in a white, sturdy, translucent, plastic bottle. It does not have a stopper but a big opening. The opening is not a problem, because even if you take out a large quantity, the same can be put back easily. It has a screw cap which closes tightly, no issues with the product spilling.
My Take on Clarins White Plus Clear Softening Peeling Gentle Renewing Lotion:
Well, I was apprehensive about using it since it claimed to be a peeling lotion. I have oily and acne-prone skin, so it was like taking a double risk, still I went ahead and I must say it is the best decision which I took. The cover nowhere mentions about the usage criterion but the inner leaflet says that it should be used twice weekly at night time.
The first week I did not notice any change, but with second week onwards, my skin started showing signs of improvement and I was using it thrice a week. It comes as a runny transparent liquid which feels a little slimy on the face but since I was applying it at bed time I did not have a problem with the stickiness. It has an alcohol type of smell but subsides within a few minutes of application.
The skin in the morning feels bright and glowing. My acne has reduced considerably though I can’t attribute acne reduction solely to this product as I have been using certain home remedies as well. The blemishes have reduced and skin looks clearer and more even toned. It didn’t dry my skin as other peeling agents supposedly do. I am not getting new skin eruptions since I have started using it.
All in all, it is a product worth investing into.
