I am back with another review. By now, all of us are fully aware of this amazing facial cleansing device called Clarisonic. Whether you have sensitive, dry or oily skin type, this device has proved to be beneficial for each and everyone. I have had my Clarisonic for 3 years now and it has been nothing less than great for me. With the frequent use, the brush obviously gets worn out and starts to feel harsh on the skin. The company suggests that you change the brush head every 3 months (I have not been following this rule religiously, I change in 5-6 months), but I have been through a fair share of brush heads ranging from normal to sensitive to acne brush. Till now my favorite one has been the sensitive brush head. With my skin being oily and acne prone, I am always scared to over scrub my face and get breakouts, so I have been looking for a softer brush head. My search came to an end when I came to know that Clarisonic came out with a new line of luxe, high-performance brush heads with three different types of brushes: a small one for eyes, another one for the face and a big one for the body. I chose to get the one for the face.
The Clarisonic Cashmere Cleanse Facial Brush Head features a dynamic dual-layer design that gently massages facial skin, generating fluid forces to cleanse 6x better than hands alone while simultaneously increasing skin’s natural hydration levels. It is compatible with all the Clarisonic facial cleansing devices. A symphony of performance and comfort, the Clarisonic Luxe High Performance Brush Head Collection features innovative tapered, ultra-long filaments to deliver uncompromising cleansing efficacy with enhanced hydration results. Perfect for even the most mature and dry complexion, these brush heads gently glide over skin, leaving it feeling clean and supple.
This brush comes in a white cardboard box. As you open the box, you will see the brush covered by a plastic cover with holes on the top to drain the water out and keep the brush dry and protected. This brush looks very different from the other ones as it has very long and tapered bristles. It is enormously soft to touch.
How to Replace Your Brush Head:
For best results, replace your brush head every 3 months.
- To remove the brush head:
1) Grip the brush head firmly, then push and twist it counter-clockwise.
2) Pull the brush head away from the handle..
- To attach the brush head, push down and twist the head clockwise until it snaps into place.
My Experience with Clarisonic Cashmere Cleanse Facial Brush Head:
Clarisonic has so many brush heads that it is hard to decide which one would work best for your skin type. I can guarantee that once you touch the cashmere cleanse brush, there will be no more confusion. I use my Clarisonic every other day for cleansing my face and body and I have had no complaints besides being scared of it being too abrasive on my skin.
This brush takes the whole cleansing experience to another level, it feels so silky smooth on the face that I was not sure if something that’s this soft will clean the pores of the skin, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is extremely gentle on the skin, but still gives excellent results. Now, I can use Clarisonic every single day without being worried about it damaging my skin. Every night, I apply my face wash on my dry face and wet this brush and use it with a light pressure in circular motions.
I can feel as if the bristles are cleaning every pore on my face. It helps in removing every bit of the makeup. The long bristles and the dual layer design of this brush can reach every nook and corner of the face. With the brush oscillating 300 times per second, it massages my skin very well. My skin feels absolutely clean and supple afterwards. I have no doubt that Clarisonic cleans my face much better than using hands alone. I have noticed that my moisturizers and serums just sink in better afterwards.
Pros of Clarisonic Cashmere Cleanse Facial Brush Head:
- Extremely soft bristles.
- Feels very gentle on the skin.
- Cleans and massages face very well.
- Helps in removing makeup better.
- Helps in better absorption of moisturizers and serums.
Cons of Clarisonic Cashmere Cleanse Facial Brush Head:
- It is $30 while the older brushes are $25, but I believe it is totally worth the extra $5.
I am completely in love with this brush as you know by now, this is definitely money well spent. If you own a Clarisonic already, then get this brush and you will not be disappointed. If you are looking in to buying a cleansing device, then definitely go for the Clarisonic, do not settle for the dupes. It is definitely a pricey investment, but it will stay with you for a long time as I mentioned I have had mine for three years. Clarisonic is totally worth it!
