My first experience with the clarisonic brush was with the mia model. I was in love with the brush from the very start, but soon after started wishing I could do more with the brush. Like use it on my arms etc. So, I returned the mia then bought the clarisonic plus model, which allows you to use the brush on your body with the body mode (need a separate specific brush and it runs for a solid 3 mins). After a week of use with the plus model I started to miss the mia version. I love the compact size and simplicity of the mia. The handle on the mia is so much easier to handle than the handles on all the other versions. I’m now content with my repurchase of the mia and love the results I’m getting. Even skin tone – scars disappear so much sooner, clearer skin over all and I love the massage feel you get when using it. I highly recommend this brush, but I don’t recommend the cleaners that come with the brushes.

I bought this Saturday on from QVC. It was the TSV. It came with 3 samples of cleanser and 2 brushes. I used it for the first time yesterday. I thought I over did as my cheeks were a little pink. I used it again today and….WOW! I made sure I kept the time to a minute like recommended. I used the normal to dry cleanser with the white brush. I couldn’t believe how great my skin looked. No flaky skin. My skin looked smooth. It felt soft. My boss just recently got the full size and she loved it. Even I could see a difference in her skin. So I thought I would try it. I am so glad that I did. I have dry skin with some oily spots in the T-zone. I also have to be careful because I have eczema and my skin can be very fickle with some skin care products. If my cheeks were red again, I would have tried the sensative skin cleanser. But the normal to dry worked fine. You can also use this with any cleanser. It is waterproof and can be used in the shower or tub.

You must charge this for 18 hours for the very first charge and it is supposed to last for 20 minutes of use. Now, if you only use this for the recommened 1 minute per day, that’s 20 sessions per charge. Great for travelling if you don’t want to bring the charger. And, the charger is magnetic. Nothing to plug in. It attaches itself to the base of the handle. When the green LED light stops blinking and is steady, you are charged. This only has 1 speed whereas the upgraded models have 2 and/or 3 speeds. I normally like to use a product for at least a week before I review, but I was thrilled with the results in just 2 days!!! If you are thinking about getting a Clarisonic, but are on the fence about the cost of the more expensive models, try the Mia. You certainly will NOT be settling. I’ve seen the regular Clarisonic on QVC before and honestly, just didn’t think it was worth the price. After my boss raved about it, and I saw her results, I decided to give the Mia a try. I am so happy that I did.

:star: :star: :star: :star: :star: A must-have!
I first experienced the clarisonic during a mini-facial I got during a massage. I loved how soft and clean my skin felt so I went home and did a little research. I read reviews on the Clarisonic for about a month before I actually bought it. I just couldn’t decide if I really needed to spend $150 (or more) on a skincare product. Would it be worth it? Would I actually use it? Could it possibly live up to all the hype? Three months later, I can tell you the answers to those questions are yes, yes and YES!

I have to admit that before I got the Mia, I was only so-so about washing my face. Because of that and not-so-great skin genes to start with, I nearly always had at lest a few zits on my face and sometimes I had many. I knew that my skin would likely improve if I took better care of it, but I was so exhausted at bedtime that often times the best I could manage was one of those pre-moistened face wipes and a little zit cream. One of the best things about the Clarisonic is that it only takes a minute. Literally 60 seconds to deep-cleaned skin. I knew that I could commit to that.

I ordered my pink Clarisonic Mia right from the clarisonic website after learning that the 1 year warranty would not be honored for units purchased at unauthorized retailers. Also, they were running a special at the time that offered a free full-size cleanser, an extra brush head, a travel carrying case and free engraving with your purchase so it was a great deal. I decided to go with the Mia since I was on a bit of a budget and figured I wouldn’t use/need the extra speeds offered on the Classic or Plus models. The Mia is also smaller which I like for travel and it doesn’t take much room in my shower.

So how does it perform? I could feel the difference in how clean my skin was after the first use. It felt soft, clean, and light. I knew right then that I had probably been leaving a lot of makeup on my face at night even when I thought I was washing it before. I decided to wait until I had been using the Mia for a few months before writing a review so I could really report on the difference in my skin. I can honestly say that my skin looks better and feels softer. Other than a few pre-menstrual pimples, I haven’t had ANY breakouts or zits. I wear less makeup and am even thinking about switching to a more sheer coverage foundation rather than the full coverage one I have been wearing for years. My skin tone has never been terribly even but I have seen improvement over the last three months and can actually imagine a day when I won’t need foundation at all.

I use the Mia every night with the cleanser that it came with. The cleanser has a pleasant smell and does the job well. The sensitive brush that came with the unit also works well and seems to be the right one for my skin. I have read a few negative reviews regarding the battery life but I followed box instructions to fully charge the unit before using it and have never had any problems. I find that I get a little over 2 weeks of use out of one full charge of the unit.

If you are thinking about buying a clarisonic, quit waiting and order it! Other than the price, I can not think of any reason not to own this amazing little skin saving tool. I plan to buy one for both my mom and mother in-law for Christmas this year!

  1. You know I’ve been debating about this product for a looong time now. At over $100 it is pricey, but I’ve heard sooo many good things!

I saw a couple of people on YouTube who said that using an automatic toothbrush will give you the same results without breaking the bank.

I’d love to hear what IMBB things.

  2. This looks like oneeeeeee wonder product. :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: I tried ordering a similar thing on ebay (don’t remember the brand), but it didn’t accept my debit card!! ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™ …I tried a couple of times and then gave up!! ….

The reviews are indeed amazing!! …Me want itttttttttt.. ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. The clarisonic plus model is both for face and body. Saw its demo in sephora and was floored. Its on my wishlist for a long time now

  4. I had bought a very very cheap version of this…..like a face massager…with so many attachments for some 300 odd rupees and when I used it, it made sounds like a rocket being launched :airplane: :airplane: ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

      1. I think I was trying to buy the same thing on ebay!! :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: ..good you told it to me now….So, tell about your experience….If its good, I’ll definitely try again to buy it !! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

  5. i wonder wonder wonder how it would go on acne… what if the brush bristles actualy spread and aggravate it…!! :struggle:

    1. I have acne prone skin and most people have suggested this not only unclogs pores and gets rid of acne-causing bacteria, but also helps get rid of scars.

It’s a wonder product no doubt!

  6. Once in a parlour, they used something similar during a facial on me. Of course, might not be anywhere near this in quality. But it was a bad experience…giant open pores :pain: :pain: I’m never going near anything like that again. Never ever.

  7. yups … using toothbrush really works……hehehehe…. me too had tried that after watchin in on you tube … hahahaha ……. I WOULD LUV TO HAV THIS THOUGHHHH . . . . :inlove:

  8. I have a Clarisonic, I bought it after more than a year of contemplating. You can buy it from Amazon.com I think. Shops like Sephora and such also carry it.

I have very sensitive skin – I can’t even say if it’s oily or dry because it changes according to the seasons and I used to get a lot of pimples even the big cystic ones. You could say these pimples were causing me to feel quite annoyed and irritated with my skin.

So I bought a Clarisonic. Effectively I’ve been using it since end of August this year.. that’s about 3 months or so. It’s actually a very good device. What it does is clean your skin very well. See the thing about wearing makeup and such is that when we remove it we think our skin is clean. Actually it is not clean enough. The Clarisonic proves this because when I use my oil-based makeup remover and then rinse my face with water, my face looks fine. But when I use the Clarisonic, the brush turns brown. There are four kinds of brushes that can be attached to a Clarisonic: Normal, Sensitive, Delicate and Spot Treatment. If you buy the Plus version (which is the one that I have), it comes with the Sensitive brush and the Spot Treatment brush. The sensitive one is good enough for me but I sometimes use the Delicate brush for a change. The Spot Treatment brush is great for rough elbows, knees, heels, etc. It’s for sloughing off dead cells in the shower.

The nice part about the Clarisonic is that it is water proof. So you don’t have to worry about getting it wet. The charger, however, is NOT water proof. You have to keep the charging cradle separately. The battery life of the Clarisonic is said to be 30 minutes. At any one point, you use the Clarisonic for like 2 minutes on your face. That’s it. It oscillates on your face – you don’t have to use any pressure, just…hold it on your face and gently move it in a circular motion. It’s quite relaxing to use after a long day.

You can use the Clarisonic with any face wash you have as long as it is not an exfoliator (does not have any beads in it). Does the Clarisonic solve all your skin problems? No. It keeps your skin cleaner so that in the long run, you will have less pimples. That is true, I do have less pimples and definitely less big ones. The small ones, I cannot escape. But the big ones seem to be less frequent nowadays – like only if I am stressed or I ate three portions of dessert recently or something like that ๐Ÿ™‚

One thing that the Clarisonic does do is remove all the dead cells on your face. The dry flaky skin will disappear and you will notice that your moisturizer absorbs better. My makeup used to settle in my laugh lines but that’s reduced a lot nowadays. My skin tone is slowly but surely evening out – but that’s probably because my skin treatment products are being absorbed better by my skin.

I don’t know if it is a wonder product because what works for me, might not necessarily work for everybody. I could live without the Clarisonic but I like how it convinces me that I *could* get better skin if I invest the time and use it. You can use it twice a day, maximum, but I try to use it at least once a day – in the evening when I remove my makeup and go to sleep. The earlier I remove my makeup and clean with the Clarisonic, the better my skin looks the next day.

If I don’t use the Clarisonic for a few days.. I start to see more small bumps on my skin. If you’re looking to invest in a good cleansing device that will reduce the number of times you go for facials etc. (which is very expensive where I live), then the Clarisonic is a good solution. If you’re looking for a silver bullet to all your skin problems, then no, the Clarisonic cannot fix it :/

  9. i love using this product. but now my clarasonic brush head is expired. iwant to buy a new one ..how can i order for it . please tell me the concerned mobile number
