Skin Type : normal to dry

Claims : A long-wearing powder foundation that creates a beautiful radiant finish and envelops skin in a glowing veil. Enhances luminosity and radiance through innovative powder technology that controls the reflection of light from the surface of skin. SPF 23.

  • Contains Illuminating Treatment Powder, an ingredient that improves rough skin and promotes exquisite radiance.
  • Gives skin the appearance of possessing a natural glow from within and creates a look of being enveloped in a veil of soft light.
  • Resists dullness, wear, and changes in color to retain a beautiful finish for hours.
  • Glides on smoothly, clings perfectly to skin, and provides a fine-textured silky finish.

Price : (most ridiculous pricing system ever) You pay for the product, foundation sponge /brush and the case separately. The good things is that you can save money on everything else and buy the refill when you repurchase the product.

  • Powder foundation refill – USD 95
  • Case : USD 30
  • Brush : USD 25
  • Sponge : USD 10

Everything included this would cost you USD 150. I bought only the case and the foundation. I got a Chanel brush as a gift with purchase that fits in the container perfectly. |BUY THIS PRODUCT HERE|

My Experience with Cle De Peau Powder Foundation
I am having such a great time using Cle De Peau products. They are expensive but they are of top notch quality. I cannot stop using their foundation, concealer and this powder foundation.

The case is a gorgeous midnight blue with golden panel around it. It has a separate compartment for a brush/ sponge and powder. It closes with a satisfying click so you can easily carry it around.

. It does not mattify the skin nor does it making it glowing…it is very natural. I have tried using it both with a damp sponge and a powder brush. With damp sponge it gives may be 10-20% more coverage. On most days I’d just wear a BB cream and use a powder foundation and call it a day. I absolutely love how nicely and smoothly it goes on skin without looking cakey. Plus the staying power is gorgeous . It makes my skin look nice even after 6-7 hour of wear and does not oxidise at all. It has never broken me out all well. I have dry skin so a lot of powder foundations make my skin drier. I never faced any problem with this one. Also, this does not accentuate my pores. This makes my skin look radiant without any masking. It also has SPF 22 PA++, which is a definite bonus. It also has skincare benefits

It is available in 12 shades. I use it in the shade 020 which perfectly matches my skintone.
It reminds me a LOT of Chanel Vitalumiere Powder Foundation.

Overall, despite the price it is a brilliant foundation. It is like a creamy powder that makes your skin look beautiful. I would not recommend it for someone with oily skin because this does not mattify the skin or controls oil. Absolutely love this one and if your budget allows you, it is worth trying every bit. It keeps everyday makeup looking beautiful and is great for setting foundations.

  1. Oooh the pricing system is actually so crazy. Why would anyone sell their products like that! :O I have never tried a powder foundation before, I just don’t feel comfy enough with them. But it’s great that you like it. Btw, which is your fav BB cream at the moment? 🙂

  2. Freaking expensive! Actually weird pricing! And buying lipstick case sounds so silly, no? *blah* I have that brush Rati *yahoo*

  3. I wish it was made for my skin type 🙁 it luks too tempting but that buying rule is freaking crazy 😛 Totally love it 🙂

  4. CDP’s billing thing is just so funny! Thank God their concealer didn’t come in that form – I just wouldn’t have bothered picking it up! I understand the refill concept, but seriously, at that price point, I should really be paying $30 more for the case!
