Along with my purchase of Clean & Clear Clear Fairness Face Wash I also bought this Clean & Clear Clear Fairness Cream. I have been using the age old Lacto Calamine Classic Moisturizer for ages now and wanted to change to something exciting yet fulfilling my needs. This claimed to do everything which I wanted my cream/moisturizer to do but sadly they did not have the tester for the cream. So I bought this cream with very-very thoughtfulness. In the past I have used the Clean & Clear Moisturizer twice/thrice and had a sort of good experience with that. So with all these things in mind I finally bought this cute baby home. Please read on further to know how far it lived up to my expectations.

Packaging: The cream comes in a light pink mauve colored tube which is curved at one corner having a white transparent screw cap with a flip top. The cap shuts tightly and hence there is no leakage and you can just take out the exact amount you need. I just find the tube very-very cute.

My experience with the cream:

I have a love hate relationship with this cream. I love the way my skin reacts to it. It’s absorbed perfectly with some massage and leaves no greasiness and stickiness. This cream just provides a smooth silky finish to the skin. This is a light weight cream still takes some effort to get completely absorbed. Now the word of caution- Please be very-very careful with the quantity of the cream you take because if you take more than required and apply it on your skin you will be left with a white cast all over your face which will in turn make you look grey. To remove this white cast you will have to put hell lot of effort in massaging and doing what not. This is the reason I hate this cream. One more extra gm of cream and you are gone. The cream smells faintly of berries, which is quite ok with me, nothing overpowering at all.

Pros of the cream:

• Smooth, light-weight cream
• Contains the goodness of berries and PureRice
• A little is required per application
• Non-sticky, non-greasy
• Claims to protect from harmful UV rays
• Did not break me out

Cons of the cream:

• Leaves a white cast on skin if taken more that required.
• The claims of pinkish fair skin are miles away from being true.
• Ufffff…. The never ending ingredient list.

Finally I would like to say that this can be an average cream, nothing great at all. Once I am done with this I will happily go back to my Lacto Calamine moisturizer. Someone has rightly said “Old is Gold”… 🙂
