I wanted to ask you if you could recommend a good cleanser for me. I have an acne and blemish prone sensitive skin. Any herbal cleanser would be great.

hey trisha try and alternate between fabindia tea tree facewash and himalaya neem facewash….as regular use of fabindia cud be drying n himalaya is gentle..so u can alternate between d too..
or u can try cetaphil too..
hope dat helped.. :-))
cetaphil cleanser, it is so mild.even it calmed my brk outs n my acne subsided.my advice, go 4 cetaphil
Cetaphil normal cleanser (dont go for the one for oily skin, that one has SLS and is really harsh) … but this Cetaphil cleanser is great – its soap free, hypo allergenic and its really helped my acne
Same here
Plus it doesn’t dehydrate skin.
Steer away from Clinique at all costs!
Cetaphil skin cleanser is very mild n good for sensitive skin
If u can lay your hands on LUSH, try Herbalism..its gently exfoliating and effective..!!otherwise can try Sebamed foam face wash. its available with chemists. Its gentle and not drying at all. ๐
Sebamed gets a thumbs up…its a german manuactured face wash…a lil expensive but absolutely worth it.
Clean and Clear :bunny:
I would suggest Vichy..very very suitable for sensitive skin..they have a separate range for acne prone sensitive skin called normaderm..am using it and lovin it..do try Trisha
CETAPHIL ALL THE WAY …….HEHEHE … it does wonders !! calms the acne and breakouts..
if u lookin for herbal one —- go for himalaya neem wash or oil control face wash ๐
I vote for Cetaphil too.. my acne-prone skin loves it!!
Use Clean & Clear Foaming Facial Wash.
Mild oil-free formula works in two days to give you Clean and Clear skin.
Removes oil, dirt, and other impurities.
Has a special ingredient, which prevents pimples, leaving your skin refreshed and clear without overdrying.
It has a very mild fragrance.
Just a small amount is required to work up a lather, you do not need dollops of it. ๐
Hey Rati I know its totally unrelated (sorry Trisha ๐ ) but I just wanted u to know I have an award 4 u over at my Blog so do check it out.I dunno if u accept awards ๐ but since I absolutely love  ur blog I just had to :-)) :-))
My vote goes to CETAPHIL!
I think I would also vote for cetaphil. That’s the most gentle cleanser I know of.
     i have also heard of cetaphil being the best brand for sensitive skin … *havent used it myself ….
well then hypernaina – you really should give it a try ……….
even i want now!

yuvalin foaming cleanser for oily skin too is nice
even vichy normaderm cleanser is fab .. they are hypo allergic and tested on sensitive skin u can check out their stuff on http://www.vichyindia.com
Hi Trisha,
Mine skin is same as yours, I am using amway’s cleanser (Attitude), its really mild and gentel.
But for skin types like us you can start applying gel ACNESOL, this really helps a lot in minimising pores, avoids breakouts no matter which face wash you use.You can use this as even night cream. ๐
Also you can use neutrogena gentle scrub once in a day, even this avoids breakouts n pimples, but at the same time this dries out the skin very well , need to moisturise well after scrubbing.
Hi all,
first of all thnk u vry much rati for including my query hre, very nice of u
thank u all for ur suggestions…i thnk i wil try out cetaphil n chck out the results…
CETAPHIL………………hands down…..its the best………
I swear by Philosophy’s Purity made Simple Cleanser. I tried Cetaphil & found it too harsh for me. Purity is a bit pricey – 8oz (236mL) is $20, but I but the 32oz (1L) bottle with pump for $45.50 & use it forever. lovely light scent & it’s actually calmed & cleared up my skin.
